Getting Around Hanworth
Hanworth is a residential district of west London on the south-eastern side of Heathrow. It was part of Middlesex and has belonged to the London Borough of Hounslow since 1965. In the 1970s an elevated feeder road for the M3, now part of the A316, was built through the district and cut it in two; it is still the quickest way onto the motorway towards Sunbury and the south-west.
The heart of the district is Hanworth Park. Its grass aerodrome, known in the 1930s as London Air Park, was used for private flying and society events, and in 1932 the Graf Zeppelin airship landed there. Hanworth Park House, built in the 1830s, now stands derelict in the middle of the park, while the Hanworth Air Park Leisure Centre & Library sits on its edge.
Hanworth has no Underground station; the nearest are Hounslow East and Hatton Cross on the Piccadilly line. For rail, Feltham station is on the district's northern edge, and Hampton and Kempton Park stations are close by. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival. For a house on one of the estates around the park, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.
A day of appointments in Hanworth, Feltham and Kingston can be booked by the hour: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Hanworth
Heathrow is 7 miles from Hanworth, 30–40 minutes by car, and served 84.5 million passengers in 2025 across Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. Gatwick is 43 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, and Luton Airport is also 43 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. Southampton Airport, down the M3, is 63 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes. London City Airport is 23 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes, since the whole of London lies in between. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. Coming home, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Hanworth, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: if you fly in the morning rush hour, set the pick-up earlier than you would for a late-evening run. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Hampton Court Palace, the Tudor palace on the Thames, is 5 miles from Hanworth, 20–30 minutes. Windsor is 13 miles west, 35–50 minutes, for the castle and the riverside town.
Thanks to the A316 and the M3, the south is quick to reach. Guildford, with its cathedral and cobbled High Street, is 24 miles, 40–55 minutes. Winchester, once the capital of Wessex and home to a great cathedral, is 52 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. Brighton, the Sussex seaside city, is 65 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes.
If you are back in Hanworth the same evening, book by the hour and keep one car for the whole day. A one-way transfer suits a stay away: it takes you to the address you give, and the return is booked separately.

Groups, Events & Racing in Hanworth
Kempton Park Racecourse is about 3 miles from Hanworth, 20–30 minutes by car, and its race days and evening meetings bring parties of friends and corporate guests through the district. For a racing party of ten meeting at a house in Hanworth, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If guests fly into Heathrow for the meeting on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own, and the drive home after the last race is planned in the same booking.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early on the big race days and in the school summer holidays. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
