London Heathrow Airport to Hanworth: Route and Drive Time
Hanworth lies south-east of the airport, just below Feltham. The drive from the terminals to Hanworth is 7 miles, normally 30–40 minutes. It is a short trip, and how long it takes depends on the terminal you leave from and on local traffic on the way through Feltham.
The district has one feature that shapes every arrival: the A316, the elevated road built in the 1970s as a feeder for the M3, runs through Hanworth and splits it in two. Which side of it your house is on decides the last few turns. Hanworth Park, the open space at the heart of the district, has housing estates on several sides.
Journey times vary with traffic and weather. Put the terminal and the full address, street and house number, in the booking.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at London Heathrow Airport
Heathrow has four passenger terminals: 2 and 3 share the central area, while 4 and 5 are some distance away from them and from each other. Give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks.
After touchdown, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules.
Going on by public transport would take more than one change. Hanworth has no Underground station of its own, the closest being Hatton Cross and Hounslow East on the Piccadilly line, and the airport's own station for Terminals 2 and 3 has been shut since 25 June 2026.

Arriving at Your Address in Hanworth
Hanworth is a residential district of the London Borough of Hounslow and was part of Middlesex until 1965. Its landmark is Hanworth Park: in the 1930s the park held the London Air Park aerodrome, the Graf Zeppelin airship landed there in 1932, and Hanworth Park House, built in the 1830s, still stands derelict in the middle. On the edge of the park stands the Hanworth Air Park Leisure Centre & Library.
Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up. For a home on an estate near the park, the postcode and house number tell the chauffeur which side of the A316 to take.
If a relative is joining you by train, the closest stations are Feltham, on the northern edge of the district, and Hampton and Kempton Park.

From Hanworth Back to London Heathrow Airport
The way back takes 30–40 minutes on an ordinary day, and a flight at the start of the morning rush calls for an earlier pick-up than an evening one. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.
Check your ticket for the departure terminal. British Airways flights normally leave from Terminal 5 and Virgin Atlantic ones from Terminal 3, but Heathrow is reviewing its terminal allocations, so the ticket is what counts.
The racecourse at Kempton Park lies about 3 miles away, and its gates draw heavy traffic on major race days. The King George VI Chase is run there on Boxing Day 2026; if you fly that day, leave earlier.
