Getting Around Addlestone
Addlestone is a town in north-west Surrey and the seat of Runnymede Borough Council, whose civic centre stands on Station Road. Junction 11 of the M25 is on the western side of the town, and New Haw, Woodham and Row Town form its southern and western neighbourhoods.
On the east side runs the River Wey Navigation, and the Basingstoke Canal meets it at New Haw. About 3 miles from the centre, 15–20 minutes by car, is St Peter's Hospital, run by the Ashford and St Peter's NHS trust.
Addlestone station, on the line between Weybridge and Virginia Water, has trains to London Waterloo. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival. For an appointment at the hospital or a meeting at the civic centre, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.
A day of site visits across Runnymede, from Addlestone to Egham and Virginia Water, works on an hourly booking: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Addlestone
Heathrow is the nearest airport, 15 miles north, 30–40 minutes by car; its rail station below Terminals 2 and 3 has been closed since 25 June 2026, which makes the road the simpler way to those terminals. Gatwick is 35 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes. London City Airport is 36 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 25 minutes. Luton Airport is 43 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, and Southampton Airport 59 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. For a departure from Addlestone, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: Junction 11 is minutes away, but between there and Heathrow the M25 meets the M3 and the M4, so build in a margin. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Addlestone
Staines-upon-Thames, on the river to the north, is 9 miles, 20–30 minutes. Windsor is 13 miles, 35–50 minutes, past Runnymede and the Magna Carta meadows. Reading is 28 miles west along the M4, 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes.
Winchester, for the cathedral and the Great Hall with its Round Table, is 48 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes. Oxford is 57 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes.
Home again by evening? Reserve the car hourly, keeping one chauffeur throughout. A one-way transfer ends at your destination, and the return needs a second booking.

Groups & Event Travel in Addlestone
Runnymede is also a university borough: Royal Holloway, University of London, has its campus at Egham, a short drive north-west of Addlestone. If a visiting academic team or a family group is flying in for a graduation or an open day, Heathrow is the short run into the borough.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If the guests come in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For a group moving together, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early around graduation weeks and Royal Ascot in June. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
