Getting Around Hanau
Hanau, on the Main 20 km east of Frankfurt, is the birthplace of the Brothers Grimm, but for business visitors it is above all a centre of materials technology. Heraeus, whose components are used in around 90% of the world's pacemaker systems, has its home here. Evonik employs about 3,500 people in Hanau, where its work centres on research and development. Four Hanau materials companies are among the 100 largest firms in Hesse. The Messe Frankfurt is 41 km away, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes.
Hanau Hauptbahnhof is a major rail junction where ICE and IC trains stop. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
For a supplier audit at an industrial site in the morning and a meeting in Frankfurt in the afternoon, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve. Plant gates and visitor entrances differ from site to site. Send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.

Airport Transfers in Hanau
Frankfurt Airport is 37 km from Hanau, 40–55 minutes by car via the A3. Passenger flights use Terminal 1 and Terminal 3; give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there. For an onward ICE, the airport station for long-distance trains sits beside Terminal 1.
Frankfurt-Hahn, west of the Rhine, is 146 km away, 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes, and is mainly used by low-cost and holiday airlines. Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden is 196 km, 2 hours 10 minutes to 2 hours 55 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Hanau, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 40–55 minutes to the airport when the A3 is clear, and the Offenbacher Kreuz can add time at rush hour. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Multi-City Travel from Hanau
Hanau faces east, and the A3 leads from here into Franconia. Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of only four German towns with completely intact city walls, is 172 km away, 2 hours to 2 hours 40 minutes; Bamberg is 204 km, 2 hours 15 minutes to 3 hours; Nuremberg is 213 km, 2 hours 20 minutes to 3 hours 10 minutes. Booked as one journey, a day in Rothenburg or a meeting in Nuremberg needs no change of train. UNESCO has listed Bamberg's old town as World Heritage since 1993, and NürnbergMesse has more than 170,000 m² of exhibition space; the Spielwarenmesse takes place there from 2 to 6 February 2027.
Closer in, Obertshausen is 10 km away, 20–25 minutes, and Offenbach is 13 km away, 25–35 minutes, and is home to the Deutscher Wetterdienst; Heidelberg is 111 km to the south, 1 hour 25 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes, and its Congress Center next to the Hauptbahnhof opened in April 2024. Stuttgart is 224 km, 2 hours 25 minutes to 3 hours 15 minutes, and Messe Stuttgart stands directly at its airport. The vehicle you book in Hanau stays with you to the address at the other end.

Groups & Congress Travel in Hanau
Congress Park Hanau has eleven halls and five foyers and holds up to 1,033 people seated, so company meetings and conferences can be held in the town itself. Every summer, from May to July, the Brüder Grimm Festspiele stage fairy-tale theatre under a covered open-air stand in the park of Schloss Philippsruhe.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If participants land on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For a party going to the same performance or session, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
For festival evenings and for conferences that fall in a Frankfurt fair week, book once the date is fixed. Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early on such dates. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
