Getting Around Obertshausen
Obertshausen sits between Offenbach and Hanau, 11 km from each, and is one of the historic centres of the German leather-goods trade. Several manufacturers still make bags and small leather goods here and export them worldwide; the Picard brand is based in the town. A handbag even appears on the coat of arms of Hausen, the second district, which lies across the B448 from Obertshausen proper.
