Getting Around Frankfurt
A business day in Frankfurt can move between three parts of the city. The towers of the Bankenviertel stand in the centre. The European Central Bank is further east in the Ostend, built onto the old wholesale market hall. The Messe lies west of the centre, about 4 km from the Römer and a 10–15 minute drive. Its grounds have more than 400,000 m² of hall space and over 90 congress rooms.
For arrivals by train, Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is the city's main ICE station, and the airport has its own long-distance station next to Terminal 1, so some trains bring you to the airport rather than into town. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
For a day split between a bank in the centre, an appointment in the Ostend and a reception at the Messe, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.
Frankfurt has a low-emission zone (Umweltzone), and the Zeil, the main shopping street, has been a pedestrian zone since 1973. Send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.

Airport Transfers in Frankfurt
Frankfurt Airport is 17 km south-west of the centre, usually 25–35 minutes by car. Since June 2026 passengers use Terminal 1 or the new Terminal 3, which opened in April 2026; Terminal 2 stays shut for refurbishment until the mid-2030s. The two terminals are some distance apart, so give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there.
Frankfurt-Hahn, 125 km to the west, is a different kind of airport: low-cost and leisure airlines such as Ryanair and Wizz Air fly from there, and the drive takes 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden is 176 km to the south. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Frankfurt, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 25–35 minutes from the centre on an ordinary day, more in the rush hours and in fair weeks. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Cross-Border Travel from Frankfurt
A business trip from Frankfurt can just as well continue by road. Heidelberg is 90 km south on the A5, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes. Cologne is 190 km north-west on the A3, 2 hours 10 minutes to 2 hours 55 minutes, and Stuttgart is 203 km away, 2 hours 15 minutes to 3 hours. Booked from your hotel to the address at the other end, the trip needs no change at a station, and the luggage stays in one car.
Two other countries are within a working day's reach. Strasbourg, across the Rhine in France, is 218 km away, 2 hours 25 minutes to 3 hours 15 minutes; Luxembourg is 237 km west, 2 hours 35 minutes to 3 hours 30 minutes. A trip across the border is booked like any other, with the same chauffeur and car from start to finish, with no change of vehicle at the border.
Germany has notified the European Commission of temporary checks at its internal land borders, and France has notified the European Commission of checks at its internal borders too. Carry the travel documents your nationality and itinerary require.

Groups & Congress Travel in Frankfurt
Frankfurt's calendar is set by the Messe. The Frankfurter Buchmesse is held every October; in 2025, for example, it drew 238,000 visitors and 4,350 exhibitors. Ambiente fills the halls at the turn of January and February, and in even-numbered years Light + Building in March and Automechanika in September add two more peaks. A company stand means staff arriving over several days and guests flying in for a single meeting.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If the team arrives on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For a group travelling together, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
Book early for fair weeks and for the Christmas market season from late November. Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early for those dates. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
