Getting Around Whetstone
Whetstone belongs to the London Borough of Barnet and is strung along the A1000, the old Great North Road, between North Finchley and Barnet. Totteridge lies just to the west, and Oakleigh Park station serves the eastern side.
Totteridge & Whetstone station, about 31 minutes by Tube from Charing Cross, is the local Northern line stop. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
The artsdepot at Tally Ho Corner is about 1 mile south, 10–15 minutes by car, and Barnet Hospital is a short drive up the Great North Road. For a house in one of the closes off Totteridge Lane, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.
If you need a car for a day of appointments in Whetstone, Barnet and Finchley, book it by the hour; one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Whetstone
City Airport, in the Royal Docks, is 19 miles from Whetstone, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes on the road. Going north, Luton Airport is 25 miles and takes 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes too, and Heathrow is 21 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes. Stansted Airport is 37 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes; it handled 29.76 million passengers in 2025. Southend Airport is 49 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Whetstone, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: two airports in opposite directions take the same time from here, so judge the margin by the drive itself. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Whetstone
Barnet, the old market town at the top of the hill, is 2 miles, 10–15 minutes. Finchley, with the artsdepot and its three town centres, is 3 miles, 15–20 minutes.
Windsor, with its castle, is 28 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. Canterbury, whose cathedral is part of a World Heritage Site, is 72 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours 25 minutes, a long day out to Kent.
For a castle visit with dinner at home, an hourly reservation holds one car and one chauffeur all day. If you are staying a night in Canterbury, a one-way booking gets you there and the way home is reserved separately.

Groups & Event Travel in Whetstone
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is 13 miles from Whetstone, 40–55 minutes by car, close enough for a birthday party or a school group. For a party of that kind, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, with booster seats if you request them.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If cousins from overseas come in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own, whichever airport they use.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early in half-term and the summer holidays. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
