Getting Around Wandsworth
Wandsworth is the town at the heart of the London Borough of Wandsworth, which also takes in Battersea, Balham, Putney and Tooting. The town grew where the River Wandle meets the Thames, and today Wandsworth Town sits on two main roads, the A3 and the South Circular, with Wandsworth Common on its eastern edge and new riverside flats along the Thames.
Wandsworth Town station has South Western Railway trains to Clapham Junction and Waterloo. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
St George's, a large teaching hospital, is in Tooting, a short drive south. For a hospital appointment or a riverside block with a gated entrance, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.
A day that combines a hospital visit in Tooting with a meeting in the City and a visit to relatives in Putney is easiest by the hour: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Wandsworth
From Wandsworth, Heathrow is 17 miles west, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes. London City Airport is 13 miles east, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Gatwick is 37 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes; Luton Airport is 40 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes to 2 hours; Stansted Airport is 43 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours 35 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
At Heathrow, British Airways uses Terminal 5 for almost all its flights, together with Iberia, while Virgin Atlantic and most oneworld partners are in Terminal 3. Give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks.
Book with your flight number. For incoming flights, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Wandsworth, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: plan around the weekday peaks on the South Circular. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Wandsworth
Putney is 1 mile, 10–15 minutes; the university Boat Race starts there, by Putney Bridge. Fulham, across Wandsworth Bridge, is 2 miles, 15–20 minutes; Craven Cottage, the home of Fulham FC, and Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea play, are both there.
Hampton Court Palace is 8 miles, 35–50 minutes, an easy half-day with guests. Groups & Event Travel in Wandsworth
Two football grounds, Stamford Bridge and Craven Cottage, lie across the river in Fulham, and Wimbledon is 3 miles south-west, 20–30 minutes, for the Championships from 28 June to 11 July 2027. If a group of supporters or a corporate party is staying in Wandsworth for a match or the tennis, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If the party flies in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early on big match days and in the tennis fortnight. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
