Getting Around Twickenham
Twickenham is a Thames-side town of Richmond upon Thames borough, in the historic county of Middlesex. Its best-known address is the national rugby stadium: Twickenham Stadium, renamed Allianz Stadium under a naming deal in September 2024, holds 82,000 and is the home of England Rugby. St Mary's University is also in Twickenham, and Strawberry Hill House, Horace Walpole's Gothic villa, stands on the edge of the town.
Twickenham station is served by South Western Railway, with trains into Waterloo. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
On match days the roads around the stadium carry heavy traffic. For a house in a street near the ground, or a hospitality entrance on a match day, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go.
For a day that covers a campus visit at St Mary's, lunch by the river and a meeting in Richmond, book by the hour: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Twickenham
Heathrow is the obvious airport for Twickenham: 8 miles, 35–50 minutes. Gatwick is 35 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes; its Northern Runway scheme, approved in September 2025, cleared its last legal challenge in August 2026, with first flights targeted for around 2030. London City Airport is 19 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes to 2 hours, Luton Airport 42 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes, and Stansted Airport 51 miles, 1 hour 35 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. When a team or a family flies in, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks.
For a departure from Twickenham, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: Heathrow is close, but on an international match day give the trip a wide margin. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Twickenham
Kew, for the Royal Botanic Gardens, is 4 miles, 20–30 minutes. Windsor is 16 miles, 45 minutes to 1 hour 5 minutes, and Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, at Leavesden, is 27 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes, for the Harry Potter sets.
Oxford, with its university colleges, is 55 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes. For a day by the sea, Brighton is 57 miles, 1 hour 35 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes.
A family day at the Studio Tour with a timed entry, or an Oxford visit and the drive back, sits in one booking by the hour. A one-way transfer suits a weekend by the sea: the car takes you to Brighton, and the return is booked for the day you leave.

Groups & Event Travel in Twickenham
Allianz Stadium hosts England's three Six Nations home games in 2027: against France on Sunday 14 February, against Italy on Saturday 20 February and against Scotland on Saturday 13 March. For a supporters' party of twenty landing at Heathrow, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If fans arrive on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early for international weekends. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
