Getting Around Southall
Southall is a large suburban town in west London and one of the seven major towns of the London Borough of Ealing. Since the Second World War it has become a largely South Asian area, sometimes called Little India, and it has London's largest Sikh community. The main shopping street, The Broadway, is part of the Uxbridge Road (A4020), the town's east–west spine. The M4 runs along the southern edge, and the Grand Union Canal separates Southall from Hayes to the west.
Trains on the Great Western Main Line call at Southall station, with Elizabeth line services to Paddington and Heathrow and services towards Reading and Oxford. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival. For a shop on The Broadway or a house in Old Southall, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.
Ealing Hospital stands on the town's eastern boundary, on the old Hanwell Asylum site. A day of family visits between Southall, Ealing and Hounslow can be reserved by the hour: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Southall
Heathrow is 7 miles from Southall, 25–35 minutes by car, so it is the usual choice for flights from this side of London. Luton Airport is 36 miles north, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes; its one terminal saw 17.77 million passengers in 2025, linked by the DART shuttle to Luton Airport Parkway station. London City Airport is 32 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes. Gatwick is 49 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes, and Stansted Airport also 49 miles, 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Southall, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: a family with heavy cases needs time at bag drop as well, so count that in. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Southall
Windsor, with the castle above the Thames, is 13 miles west, 35–50 minutes. Henley-on-Thames, home of the Henley Royal Regatta, is 27 miles, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes. Oxford is 50 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes.
For a weekend away, Bourton-on-the-Water, in the Cotswolds, is 73 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours 25 minutes. Canterbury, with its cathedral, is 94 miles east, 2 hours to 2 hours 35 minutes, the longest drive on this list.
Relatives visiting from abroad can see two of these places in one day with a booking by the hour, travelling in the same car from one address to the next. A one-way journey takes you to a single destination, and the ride back is reserved separately.

Groups & Event Travel in Southall
The Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha on Havelock Road, opened in 2003, is one of the largest Sikh gurdwaras outside India. If relatives fly in from abroad for a family celebration or a festival at the gurdwara, the size of the party sets the vehicle. For a family party of twenty arriving at Heathrow, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, gifts and extra suitcases included.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If guests arrive on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own, so an aunt landing at Terminal 4 and cousins at Terminal 2 are both met.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early around the big festival dates. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
