Getting Around Kings Langley
Kings Langley is a village in Hertfordshire, between Hemel Hempstead and Watford. The River Gade divides it between two councils: Dacorum has the larger western part and Three Rivers the smaller part to the east. It is a different place from Langley near Slough, in Berkshire.
In the Middle Ages a royal palace stood on what is now Langley Hill; Edmund of Langley, the first Duke of York, was born there in 1341. Beside the railway, the listed Art Deco front of the former Ovaltine factory still stands, while the factory itself has become flats.
The M25 crosses the Gade valley on a viaduct just south of the village, and the A41 now bypasses the High Street. Kings Langley station, on the West Coast Main Line east of the village, has London Northwestern Railway trains to Euston and Milton Keynes Central. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival. Send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.
A day of meetings between Kings Langley, Hemel Hempstead and Watford can be booked by the hour: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Kings Langley
Luton Airport is the closest: 17 miles north-east, 30–40 minutes by car. The DART shuttle, opened in 2023, runs between its terminal and Luton Airport Parkway station. Heathrow is 22 miles south, 40–55 minutes. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. London City Airport is 43 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, and Stansted Airport 47 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Kings Langley, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: the M25 is right next to the village, but if the orbital motorway is slow towards Heathrow, the trip grows longer. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Kings Langley
The Studio Tour is the obvious short trip: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is 3 miles, 15–20 minutes. St Albans, with Roman Verulamium, is 8 miles, 20–30 minutes. Harpenden, home of Rothamsted Research, is 14 miles, 30–40 minutes.
For a longer day, Oxford is 54 miles west, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, and Cambridge 51 miles north-east, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes.
An hourly booking holds one car and one chauffeur for a day out and home again in the evening. Booked one-way, the car takes you to the other address and leaves; the return trip is reserved separately.

Groups & Event Travel in Kings Langley
With the Studio Tour so close, the village is a handy base for visiting fans. If a school party or a family reunion is flying into Luton Airport for the tour, the whole group can be planned together.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If relatives land on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For a group that moves as one, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, from cases to buggies.
School half-terms and summer holidays need the most notice. Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early for those weeks. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
