Getting Around Harlow
Harlow is a district and new town in west Essex, close to the Hertfordshire border. It was created after the Second World War as a new town, designated in 1947 and planned by the architect Frederick Gibberd, which is why it is laid out in separate neighbourhoods, with industrial and business areas apart from the homes and the town centre.
The Princess Alexandra Hospital serves Harlow and the surrounding towns. For a ward visit, an outpatient appointment or a home in one of the neighbourhoods, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.
From Harlow Town station, trains run south to London Liverpool Street and north to Stansted Airport. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival. By road, the town is served by Junctions 7 and 7a of the M11.
When a client visit at a business park, lunch in Epping and a site meeting in Hertford fill the same day, hire the car for a block of hours: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Harlow
Stansted Airport is the nearest, 15 miles to the north-east, 35–50 minutes by the M11. In 2025 it counted 29.76 million passengers, all through one terminal. For City-bound flights, London City Airport is 24 miles, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes.
Luton Airport is 31 miles, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, and Southend Airport 38 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes. Heathrow is 50 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. On arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Harlow, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: London City means crossing east London, and Heathrow means the full western arc of the M25, both slower at peak hours. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Harlow
The market town of Epping is 7 miles south, 20–30 minutes, and Hertford, the county town of Hertfordshire, is 10 miles west, 20–30 minutes.
Central London is 26 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, a practical run for a show in the West End or a meeting in the City. Cambridge is 36 miles north, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes.
Winchester, once the royal seat of Alfred the Great, is 97 miles away, 2 hours 5 minutes to 2 hours 40 minutes. To come home that night with the same driver, choose hourly hire; a one-way transfer finishes at the drop-off point, and the trip back is booked as its own journey.

Groups & Event Travel in Harlow
Consider a company in one of Harlow's business areas hosting visitors from abroad for a product launch or a training week. For a delegation of that size, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, including display cases and samples.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If visitors come in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own; some may land at Stansted, others at London City.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early in the summer, Stansted's busiest season, and around bank holidays. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
