London City Airport to Harlow: Route and Drive Time
Harlow lies on the western side of Essex next to Hertfordshire, and from the Royal Docks the trip runs north out of east London and up the M11 to Junctions 7 or 7a. The distance is 24 miles, normally 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes.
Because the town was planned in separate neighbourhoods, with business areas set apart from the homes and the centre, the finish depends on the exact address. A company site, the town centre near Harlow Town station and a house in one of the neighbourhoods are each reached by a different road from the motorway. Journey times vary with traffic and weather.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at London City Airport
For a business visitor, London City keeps things short: one terminal, and collections for pre-booked cars in the airport's short-stay parking.
When your flight lands, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules.
Harlow is nearer to Stansted, but if your airline flies into London City from a European business centre, the drive from the Royal Docks is still a direct run up the M11. Give the company name and site with the booking, not only the town.

Arriving at Your Address in Harlow
Frederick Gibberd drew up the plan for Harlow after its designation as a new town in 1947, which is why housing, industry and the centre occupy separate areas. For a visit to a business park, a home in one of the neighbourhoods or an appointment at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up.
For a hospital visit, add the clinic or ward to your booking notes. Harlow Town station has trains south to Liverpool Street and north to the Stansted terminal, if part of the trip continues by rail.

From Harlow Back to London City Airport
On the return, plan by the drive's length: 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes on an ordinary day, though the east London section near the docks is slower at rush hour. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.
If your last meeting is at a business park, book the pick-up from the site itself rather than from your hotel.
Because London City operates a single terminal, the driver works from two details only: your flight time and the Harlow address.
