Getting Around Haringey
The London Borough of Haringey stretches across north London from Highgate and Muswell Hill in the west to Tottenham and the Lee Valley in the east. Wood Green, in the middle, is its main town centre and the home of the council. Two large venues stand at opposite ends of the borough: Alexandra Palace on its hill in the west and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the High Road in the east. No part of Haringey lies inside the Congestion Charge zone.
Three Underground lines cross the borough. The Piccadilly line calls at Turnpike Lane and Wood Green, the Victoria line at Seven Sisters and Tottenham Hale, which is also a call for the Stansted Express, and the Northern line at Highgate. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
On event days the streets around the stadium close to traffic. For an address near the High Road, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go. A day that joins a meeting at the Civic Centre in Wood Green with visits in Tottenham and Highgate can be booked by the hour: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Haringey
City Airport is the nearest of five airports: 17 miles, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes by car. Heathrow is 24 miles, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, and in 2025 it handled 84.5 million passengers across Terminals 2 to 5. Luton Airport is 32 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes. Stansted Airport is 35 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. Southend Airport, the farthest, is 46 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Haringey, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: if your flight falls on a game or concert day at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, leave room for the closed streets in the east of the borough. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Districts of Haringey
Haringey is a borough of distinct districts. Wood Green, 1 mile from the middle of Haringey, 10–15 minutes, holds The Mall, the High Road shops and the Civic Centre, with Alexandra Palace on the slope above. Tottenham, 2 miles, 20–30 minutes, is the eastern half: the stadium, Bruce Castle and the new homes around Tottenham Hale. Highgate, 3 miles, 20–30 minutes, is shared with Camden and Islington; the Haringey side takes in Highgate Wood.
Between them lie Hornsey, Crouch End and Muswell Hill, mostly residential, and Finsbury Park on the southern edge. Alexandra Palace, opened in 1873, hosts concerts, exhibitions and the world darts championship in its Great Hall.
Islington is 4 miles south, 25–35 minutes, for offices and theatres closer to the centre. For a day out of London, Cambridge is 56 miles north, 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes, up the M11.

Groups & Event Travel in Haringey
The borough carries the London Borough of Culture title in 2027; its events run between May 2027 and March 2028 at venues all over Haringey, Alexandra Palace and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium among them. Before that, the PDC World Darts Championship fills the palace from 11 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, and under the club's NFL deal at least two regular-season games a season come to the stadium until 2029–30.
For a choir, a theatre company or a sports party coming to the borough, when you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If its members land on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. When they move together, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, costumes and kit included.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early in the darts fortnight and on stadium weekends. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
