Getting Around Godstone
Godstone is a village in the Tandridge district of Surrey, at the crossing of the A22 and the A25. Junction 6 of the M25 lies just north of it, and the village is also the traffic control centre for the southern section of the motorway. The North Downs Way and the Greensand Way, two long-distance footpaths, both pass through the parish.
The village has two centres, both conservation areas. Godstone Green, with its old horse-pond, is the larger; Church Town grows around St Nicholas Church and timber-framed houses such as the 15th-century Old Packhouse. Godstone Farm, a children's farm, sits beside Godstone Vineyards on Quarry Road.
Godstone station is not in the village but in South Godstone, about 2 miles to the south, on the Redhill–Tonbridge line with hourly trains. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival. For a cottage on a narrow lane outside the village, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go.
Visits to the vineyards, Titsey Place and a lunch in Oxted fit well into one hourly booking: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Godstone
Being next to the M25 puts Godstone within reach of several airports. Gatwick is the closest, 13 miles south-west, 40–55 minutes by car. Heathrow is 40 miles round the motorway, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes; it handled 84.5 million passengers in 2025 and uses Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. London City Airport is 36 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes, and Stansted Airport 63 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Godstone, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: the motorway starts at the edge of the village, yet the queues on the M25 decide how long the run to Heathrow or Stansted takes. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Godstone
Oxted, the main town of Tandridge with its own station and shops, is 5 miles east, 20–30 minutes. Hampton Court Palace, Henry VIII's riverside palace, is 25 miles away, 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes, along the M25. Tunbridge Wells is 30 miles, 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes, for The Pantiles and a quieter day in Kent.
Further afield, Canterbury and its cathedral are 58 miles east, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes. For motor-racing fans, Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix, is 103 miles, 2 hours 10 minutes to 2 hours 50 minutes.
A day out and back works best by the hour, with the same chauffeur through the day. A single journey finishes wherever you ask, and any trip home is a second reservation.

Groups, Events & Racing in Godstone
Lingfield Park racecourse is about 8 miles south of Godstone, around 25–35 minutes by car. In 2027 it plans seven Summer Sounds evenings, race meetings followed by live music, between 22 May and 11 September. For a group of friends at one of those evenings, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, and the ride home is set for after the music ends.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If guests come in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early for race evenings and the summer holidays. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
