Getting Around Enfield
Enfield is London's northernmost borough, and Enfield Town is its historic centre, with a market place that dates back to the Middle Ages. The borough meets the M25 along its northern edge, with Junction 25 at the top of the A10, the Great Cambridge Road, so the motorway is close to the town centre. The world's first cash machine was installed at a Barclays branch in Enfield Town in June 1967.
Two stations serve the centre. Enfield Town is the end of an Overground line from Liverpool Street, and Enfield Chase has Great Northern trains to Moorgate. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival. Chase Farm Hospital lies on the north-western side of town, 2 miles from the centre, 15–20 minutes. For a hospital entrance or a house in a private road, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.
Forty Hall, a Jacobean manor house of the 1630s, is about 1 mile north of the centre. For a day of visits around Enfield and the Lee Valley, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Enfield
Enfield's position on the M25 changes the order of the airports. Luton Airport is 28 miles, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes, and Stansted Airport 30 miles, 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes; both are reached by motorway. Stansted handled 29.76 million passengers in 2025 and works from one terminal, which is being extended. London City Airport is 17 miles, 45 minutes to 1 hour 5 minutes, while Heathrow is 39 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, round the M25. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Enfield, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: the western M25 towards Heathrow is the longest leg, and an accident on it can add a lot. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Multi-City Travel from Enfield
Edmonton, with North Middlesex University Hospital, is 2 miles south, 10–15 minutes. Chingford, at the edge of Epping Forest, is 4 miles east, 20–30 minutes. Central London is 12 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes, the slowest part being the final stretch into town.
Northwards the roads are quicker. Cambridge is 51 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, straight up the A10 and the M11. For the south coast, Portsmouth, with ferries to France, Spain and the Isle of Wight, is 103 miles, 2 hours 10 minutes to 2 hours 50 minutes.
A morning meeting in Cambridge with a return the same afternoon works as one booking by the hour. To catch a ferry at Portsmouth, choose a one-way ride to the port with your sailing time in the booking; the way home is a second reservation.

Groups & Event Travel in Enfield
Brimsdown, in the east of the borough, is an industrial area with warehouses and factories. If a visiting team splits its days between sites there and offices elsewhere, one account helps: when you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If the visitors fly in to Stansted and Luton on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
For a team travelling together between sites, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, including sample cases and tools.
If guests from abroad come for a family gathering at Christmas or in the summer holidays, plan ahead: local vehicles and drivers are booked up early in those weeks. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
