Getting Around Edgware
Edgware is a town in north London, mainly in the London Borough of Barnet, with parts in the neighbouring borough of Harrow. It lies 10 miles north-north-west of Charing Cross, on the A5, the road that follows the line of the Roman Watling Street and becomes Edgware Road further south. The A41 and the M1 pass close by.
Edgware station is one of the northern ends of the Northern line, and the town has a large bus garage; Burnt Oak, on the Northern line, and Canons Park and Queensbury, on the Jubilee line, are nearby. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
The Broadwalk Centre is the town's shopping centre, and Edgware Community Hospital, opened in 2005, stands on part of the former general hospital site. Edgwarebury Park and Stoneyfields Park are the main green spaces. For a house on a residential street or an appointment at the hospital, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop. If you have a day of visits between Edgware, Barnet and the studios, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Edgware
From Edgware the quickest airport is Luton Airport, 22 miles north, 40–55 minutes by car, almost all of it on the M1; it works from one terminal and handled 17.77 million passengers in 2025. Heathrow is 17 miles south-west but slower, 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes, across north-west London. London City Airport is 25 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes. Stansted Airport is 41 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, and Gatwick 46 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Edgware, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: on the M1 and the A41 the morning rush can add to the figures above. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Edgware
Borehamwood, just over the Hertfordshire border, is 4 miles, 15–20 minutes; it is home to Elstree Studios and Sky Studios Elstree. Hendon is 5 miles, 15–20 minutes, with the RAF Museum and Middlesex University.
The Harry Potter tour, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, is 9 miles from Edgware, 25–35 minutes. St Albans, the cathedral city on the site of Roman Verulamium, is 13 miles, 30–40 minutes.
For the coast, Eastbourne, the resort on the Sussex coast under Beachy Head, is 109 miles, 2 hours 20 minutes to 3 hours. With an hourly booking the car stays for the whole outing and the chauffeur drives you back; a one-way booking takes you there only, and you book the journey home separately.

Groups & Event Travel in Edgware
Edgware sits between two film and TV centres: the studios of Borehamwood to the north and the Harry Potter Studio Tour at Leavesden to the north-west. Crews, cast members and visitors to them often fly into Luton. Wembley Stadium is also within reach for match and concert days.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If a production team lands on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For a crew with equipment cases, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early in the school holidays and on big stadium dates. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
