Getting Around East Ham
East Ham is a town in Newham, the east London borough, covering the E6 and part of the E12 postcodes. Its centre runs along High Street North, where the Edwardian East Ham Town Hall is now Newham's town hall. Central Park lies to the south, and St Mary Magdalene, a Norman church of the twelfth century, stands near the A13. To the west, Green Street and Queen's Market lead to Upton Park, where West Ham played at the Boleyn Ground until 2016.
East Ham station has District and Hammersmith & City line trains to the City and the West End and is in Travelcard Zones 3 and 4. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival. By road, the A13 and the A406 North Circular meet at Beckton, just south of the town.
If you are visiting a block of flats off High Street North, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop. For a day of council appointments, a lunch on Green Street and a meeting at the Royal Docks, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in East Ham
London City Airport is only 4 miles from East Ham, 25–35 minutes, in the Royal Docks across the A13. A one-terminal airport, it counted 3.74 million passengers in 2025. Stansted Airport is 31 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes, and Southend Airport 34 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. Heathrow is 35 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes, and Luton Airport 46 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes to 2 hours. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For any arriving flight, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from East Ham, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: a City Airport flight needs only a short ride, but Heathrow is on the far side of London. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from East Ham
Barking, the next town east, is 2 miles, 15–20 minutes. Woolwich, across the Thames, is 6 miles, 40–55 minutes. Hampton Court Palace is 24 miles, 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes; the Tudor palace stands on the Thames on the far side of the capital.
Canterbury, the cathedral city of Kent, is 59 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes. Southampton, the cruise port, is 99 miles, 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours 15 minutes.
If you are sailing from Southampton, book a one-way ride with the suitcases to the cruise terminal; the drive back is a booking of its own. A day at Hampton Court with dinner back in East Ham fits a booking by the hour.

Groups & Congress Travel in East Ham
The ExCeL halls at Royal Victoria Dock are 5 miles from East Ham, 20–30 minutes. Before Christmas they host the London International Horse Show, from 17 to 21 December 2026. A stand team booked into East Ham hotels can drive in to the halls each morning.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If the team arrives on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For staff with sample cases and display boards, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
Give a coach a pick-up spot near High Street North rather than in a residential street. Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early during the big ExCeL weeks. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
