Getting Around Dagenham
Dagenham makes up the eastern half of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Much of it is the Becontree estate, built by the London County Council in the 1920s and 1930s as one of the largest council estates of its time. On the Thames, Ford's Dagenham plant, opened in 1931, still builds engines, although car assembly there ended in 2002.
Since early 2025 the area has also had a film campus: Eastbrook Studios, on the former Sanofi site in Dagenham East, with 12 sound stages and a backlot. It is about 1 mile from Dagenham Heathway, 10–15 minutes by car. Valence House, a manor house that now holds the borough's museum and archives, stands in Valence Park.
Dagenham Heathway and Dagenham East are on the District line, and Dagenham Dock has c2c trains to Fenchurch Street. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival. For a stage door at the studios or a house on the estate, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop. A location recce that takes in the studios, the riverside and a production office in central London fits a booking by the hour: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Dagenham
London City Airport is 7 miles west, 25–35 minutes by the A13. Southend Airport is 30 miles east, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes, and Stansted Airport 35 miles north, also 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes; Stansted, with one terminal, served 29.76 million passengers in 2025. Heathrow is 39 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes, and Luton Airport 45 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes to 2 hours. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. If cast or crew are flying in, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Dagenham, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: Heathrow lies on the far side of the capital, and the route either crosses central London or follows the M25 most of the way round. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Dagenham
Romford, the market town of Havering, is 4 miles, 15–20 minutes. Chelmsford, Essex's county town and a city since 2012, is 23 miles up the A12, 45 minutes to 1 hour 5 minutes.
For film fans, Leavesden's Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is 37 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, round the M25. Windsor, with its castle, is 44 miles, 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes. The longest run on this list is Southampton, 116 miles, 2 hours 25 minutes to 3 hours 10 minutes, where cruise ships and Isle of Wight ferries sail.
When the plan is the Studio Tour and Windsor on the same day, an hourly reservation keeps the car and chauffeur with you until you are back. A one-way booking suits a cruise departure, with the trip home from Southampton reserved separately.

Groups & Event Travel in Dagenham
A production at Eastbrook Studios moves people in waves: actors from hotels in central London, crew from the airports, visiting executives for a day on set. When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If the cast lands on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
For a camera team with flight cases and lighting kit, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats. Describe the equipment in the booking so that the vehicle is matched to the load.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early when several productions are shooting at once. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
