Getting Around Bromley
Bromley gives its name to the largest of the London boroughs by area and is its principal town. Until 1965 it was a Kent town; that year it passed into Greater London. Its centre is the High Street with The Glades shopping centre, the Churchill Theatre stands at the southern end of it, and Bromley FC play their home games at Hayes Lane.
The town has two stations. Bromley South, in Travelcard Zone 5, has Southeastern trains to London Victoria and Thameslink services through the City; Bromley North is the end of a short branch line from Grove Park. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
The northern part of the High Street is pedestrianised. For a shop, office or flat there, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go. A day of meetings at the Civic Centre, lunch in town and a visit across the borough works well booked by the hour: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Bromley
London City Airport is the quickest airport to reach from Bromley: 12 miles, 45 minutes to 1 hour 5 minutes. Gatwick is 28 miles south, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, and its North and South terminals together served 42.8 million passengers in 2025. Heathrow is 28 miles too, but 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes, because the route runs across south London. Southend Airport is 41 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes, and Stansted Airport 53 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes. London Biggin Hill Airport, in the south of the borough, serves business aviation only and has no scheduled passenger flights. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Bromley, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: Heathrow and Gatwick lie at the same distance, yet the drive to Heathrow takes about half an hour more. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Bromley
Bromley sits on the London side of the Kent border, and the county's towns are an easy drive. Tunbridge Wells, a spa town with its colonnaded Pantiles, is 29 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes. Maidstone, where Kent County Council sits, is 30 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes.
Further out, Brighton is 50 miles south, 1 hour 25 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes, and Canterbury 56 miles east, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes. Southampton, the port for many cruise departures, is 96 miles, 2 hours 15 minutes to 2 hours 55 minutes; with cases for a fortnight at sea, a car from your door saves a change of train.
For a day in Tunbridge Wells or Canterbury with the drive home at night, reserve hourly and one chauffeur covers it all. A one-way booking to the port ends at the terminal, and the return after the cruise is a separate booking.

Groups & Event Travel in Bromley
The Churchill Theatre's pantomime season brings school parties and families into Bromley each winter; this year Sleeping Beauty runs from 5 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. For a class of eleven with two teachers, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; give the number of children and adults, and the vehicle is matched to the load.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If grandparents fly in for the show on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early in December, when the pantomime and Christmas shopping overlap. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
