Getting Around Bow
Bow is an east London district in Tower Hamlets, between Victoria Park to the north and the River Lea to the east. Roman Road Market runs through its centre. On the Lea stands Three Mills Island, with the House Mill, a tide mill of 1776, and Three Mills Studios, used for film and television. Bow Quarter, the flats in the former Bryant & May match factory, recalls the matchgirls' strike of 1888.
Two main roads shape every drive: the A12, which carries traffic north from the Blackwall Tunnel, and the A11 towards the City, which meet at the Bow Flyover. Bow Road station, in Travelcard Zone 2, has District and Hammersmith & City line trains, and Bow Church is on the DLR towards Canary Wharf and Stratford. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
For a flat in a gated block such as Bow Quarter, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop. Canary Wharf is 3 miles away, 15–20 minutes. For a day of meetings at Canary Wharf and then the City, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Bow
London City Airport is 5 miles from Bow, 25–35 minutes. Heathrow is 23 miles west, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes. Since June 2026 its Terminals 2 and 3 rail station has been closed, so a car to the terminal saves a change of train. Stansted Airport is 33 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes, Southend Airport 38 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes, and Luton Airport 47 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes to 2 hours. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. After touchdown, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Bow, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: if the route runs up the A12 over the Bow Flyover in the morning peak, leave a margin before an early flight. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Bow
Greenwich, across the river, home of the National Maritime Museum, is 5 miles, 20–30 minutes. Islington is 5 miles, 25–35 minutes. To the north-west, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is 30 miles away, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes.
Henley-on-Thames, the riverside town of the Royal Regatta, is 43 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours 35 minutes. Whitstable, on the north Kent coast, is 57 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes.
With children going to the Studio Tour for a fixed entry slot, book the day by the hour and the car brings everyone home afterwards. For a seaside weekend in Whitstable, a one-way ride is enough, and the way back is booked separately.

Groups & Event Travel in Bow
If a film or television crew is working at Three Mills Studios, cast and crew may come in from hotels across London at different times. When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If the crew flies in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
For a unit shuttling from hotel to set and back, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, including equipment cases.
Victoria Park, on Bow's northern edge, holds large summer concerts, and a family or a group of friends going together can travel in one vehicle. Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early on concert weekends. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
