Getting Around Córdoba
Many visits to Córdoba centre on the historic quarter that UNESCO lists together with the Mezquita-Catedral: the San Basilio quarter, the Alcázar of the Christian Monarchs, the Roman Bridge over the Guadalquivir and the Calahorra Tower on the far bank. The city's second World Heritage site, the caliphal city of Medina Azahara, lies outside town, about 13 km to the west, and is reached by road.
Córdoba station, on the Glorieta de las Tres Culturas close to the centre, has high-speed trains to Madrid and Seville, with the bus station next door. Include your train details and arrival time when booking so we can arrange your pickup at the station.
Medina Azahara is an easy one-way transfer from a hotel in the centre, about 13 km each way. For a longer day of visits, you can book one chauffeur and one vehicle by the hour: you name where the day begins and ends and how many hours you need, and the day's plan goes in with the booking.
Much of the historic centre is made up of restricted-traffic areas, known as ACIRE. The city authorises residents, garage users, businesses in the zone and a few other groups to drive in, and occasional access has to be notified in advance. Send us the full address at booking, and we will say how close to it the car can get.

Airport Transfers in Córdoba
Córdoba's own airport has very few scheduled routes, so airport transfers to the city usually run from Seville or Málaga. Seville Airport (SVQ) is about 150 km south-west, and the transfer takes 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes. Málaga Airport (AGP), about 170 km to the south, is the other choice, with connections to more than 135 destinations; the drive takes 1 hour 55 minutes to 2 hours 35 minutes. The choice follows your flight.
The Seville run is the A-4 motorway down the Guadalquivir valley almost all the way. The Málaga run takes the A-45 south past Antequera and then the AP-46 down to the coast. Journey times vary with traffic and weather.
Book with your flight number. For airport pickups, your chauffeur monitors your flight and adjusts the pickup if your arrival time changes. Your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. Leaving Córdoba, allow for the drive to the airport when choosing your pickup time: 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes to Seville Airport, a little longer to Málaga. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Multi-City Travel from Córdoba
Seville, Granada and Málaga are each within about 165 km, so a tour of Andalusia can continue from here. Seville is about 145 km down the A-4, Granada about 165 km to the south-east and Málaga, with the Costa del Sol beyond it, about 155 km south. Moving on with a tour's worth of luggage takes one booking, from your Córdoba hotel to the next one on the route.
Madrid, about 395 km north on the A-4, is the long run from here. It is booked the same way, at the pickup time you choose.

Groups & Congress Travel in Córdoba
Groups on a cultural programme come to Córdoba as tour parties, school trips or delegations with an afternoon off. For scale, the Mezquita-Catedral recorded 2,191,731 visitors in 2025, a record reported by its Cathedral Chapter.
For whoever organises the trip, the whole programme lives in one account, where each journey gets its own booking and its own confirmation: a group from Málaga Airport, a guide arriving by AVE, a party heading out to Medina Azahara. Where a group moves together, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats.
May is the month to book early. The Fiesta de los Patios, listed by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage, opens the city's courtyards for about two weeks during the month. Local vehicles and drivers are committed well ahead of it. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
