Seville Airport to Córdoba: Route and Drive Time
Córdoba is 150 km north-east of Seville Airport, and the road is the A-4 nearly all the way. The terminal already sits on the eastern side of Seville, so the car joins the motorway without crossing the city and follows it up the Guadalquivir valley, past Carmona and Écija. The drive usually takes 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes.
On a route this long the motorway sets the pace, and the time is spent on open road rather than in town traffic. The variation comes at either end: leaving the airport area at a busy hour, and the last kilometres into Córdoba, where the historic centre around the Mezquita-Catedral is a web of narrow streets with restricted access.
Journey times vary with traffic and weather. Send the hotel's street with the flight number, and tell us whether it sits in the old town or in the newer districts near the station.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Seville Airport
Seville Airport has one passenger terminal, the Rafael Moneo building, and all arrivals leave it through a single exit. Every airline uses that same exit.
For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules. With two hours of motorway ahead, the start of the drive moves with the aircraft, and a delay on the way in shifts the hour you reach Córdoba, not the arrangement itself.
The airport is growing: 9,175,759 passengers in Aena's latest ranking, 13.7% more than the year before. The works Aena plans here for 2027–2031 are about safety and regulation rather than new capacity, and there is no construction affecting arrivals in 2026 or 2027.

Arriving at Your Hotel in Córdoba
Many hotels in Córdoba stand inside the historic centre that UNESCO lists with the Mezquita-Catedral: the Judería, the San Basilio quarter and the streets down to the Roman Bridge. Much of that centre is made up of ACIRE, areas of restricted traffic, which only authorised vehicles may enter: those of residents and local businesses, cars going to a private garage, and a few other cases, with one-off access notified to the city beforehand.
Outside those areas the approach is simpler. Hotels near the Plaza de las Tendillas and the newer districts, and Córdoba's railway station, close to the centre, are reached by ordinary streets. For a hotel inside the ACIRE, the useful detail in the booking is whether it has its own garage.
Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up.

From Córdoba Back to Seville Airport
Leaving Córdoba, the useful thing to know is how long the road takes, not when to leave: 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes to Seville Airport, longer in heavy traffic. The pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.
The return is the A-4 in the other direction, down the valley to the east side of Seville, so the drive does not enter the city before the airport. With a single terminal, every airline uses the same departures kerb, and the booking needs only your address in Córdoba and the pickup time.
If the flight home leaves from Málaga instead, the car can take that road: Málaga Airport is 168 km from Córdoba, 1 hour 55 minutes to 2 hours 35 minutes, and the pickup at your hotel is set the same way.
