Getting Around Grobenzell
Grobenzell (Gröbenzell) is a residential municipality of about 20,000 people in the Fürstenfeldbruck district in Upper Bavaria, right on Munich's north-western boundary. It is one of the most densely populated municipalities in Germany, and the town grew up around its S-Bahn station. Munich city centre is 19 km by road, 25–35 minutes; Germering, the neighbouring town to the south, is 9 km, 20–25 minutes.
The station is on the S3 line between Mammendorf and Holzkirchen, about 20 minutes from central Munich. Shops, crafts and small firms are concentrated in the business area on the eastern side, between the railway and the road to Lochhausen. Long-distance trains do not stop here. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
If you are visiting family in Grobenzell and have appointments in Munich and Augsburg within one day, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve. Send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.

Airport Transfers in Grobenzell
Munich Airport is 45 km from Grobenzell, 45 minutes to 1 hour via the A99 and A92 around the north of the city. Memmingen Airport, 106 km west, takes 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes, and Innsbruck Airport is 153 km south, 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Munich Airport has an S-Bahn link too: lines S1 and S8 run every 10 minutes, about 40 minutes from the Hauptbahnhof. From Grobenzell that means first riding the S3 into the city, so with a family and bags, one car from the front door avoids the change.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Grobenzell, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 45 minutes to 1 hour to the terminal on a quiet day, more when the A99 is busy. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Multi-City Travel from Grobenzell
Augsburg is 53 km west on the A8, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes; its trade fair centre, Messe Augsburg, has 12 halls. Garmisch-Partenkirchen is 101 km south, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. Füssen, with Neuschwanstein Castle above it, is 121 km away, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, and Lindau on Lake Constance 175 km, 2 hours to 2 hours 40 minutes. Stuttgart is 207 km north-west on the A8, 2 hours 20 minutes to 3 hours 10 minutes. Nuremberg is 177 km north, 2 hours to 2 hours 40 minutes; its Spielwarenmesse toy fair runs from 2 to 6 February 2027. Rothenburg ob der Tauber is 229 km away, 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours 25 minutes, and Bamberg 236 km, 2 hours 35 minutes to 3 hours 30 minutes. On these runs a car avoids the change at Pasing, one of Munich's three long-distance stations, or at the Hauptbahnhof, and children, prams and cases stay in one vehicle.
For a trip that links several towns, such as a morning in Augsburg and an afternoon at the castle, book the legs as separate transfers or the whole day by the hour.

Groups & Event Travel in Grobenzell
For a family occasion in Grobenzell, or for visitors staying with relatives, the plans may well point towards Munich: the Oktoberfest on the Theresienwiese from mid-September to early October, the Messe in Riem, 44 km away, 45 minutes to 1 hour, and day trips into the Allgäu. A coach to Neuschwanstein is easier to plan when everyone starts from one address.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If relatives arrive on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For a group on one schedule, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
The weeks around the Oktoberfest are the tightest. Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early in that period. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
