Getting Around Mannheim
Mannheim's centre is laid out as a grid. Between the palace and the Neckar there are 144 blocks, the Quadrate, and instead of street names they carry a letter and a number, such as C3 or N7. A city-centre address is therefore a block and a house number, and that is exactly what the chauffeur needs in the booking.
The Hauptbahnhof is one of the key junctions in Germany's ICE network: here the line from Frankfurt to Basel meets the line between Cologne and Stuttgart. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
The Congress Center Rosengarten, about 1 km from the station, has 44 halls and rooms on 22,000 m² and room for up to 9,000 participants. The Maimarkt grounds, where the region's large spring fair is held, are on Xaver-Fuhr-Straße.
For a day split between the Rosengarten, an office in the Quadrate and an appointment across the Rhine in Ludwigshafen, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve. Send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.

Airport Transfers in Mannheim
Frankfurt Airport is 77 km north of Mannheim, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes by car. Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden is 105 km south, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes, and Saarbrücken 127 km west, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. The right one depends on your airline and route.
At Frankfurt, the airlines that used Terminal 2 moved to the new Terminal 3 in 2026, while others stay in Terminal 1. Your ticket names the terminal; give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Mannheim, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes to Frankfurt Airport on an ordinary day, more in the morning rush on the A5 or the A67. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Cross-Border Travel from Mannheim
The Rhine-Neckar cities are close together. Ludwigshafen is just across the Rhine, 5 km away, 15–20 minutes, and Heidelberg is 21 km up the Neckar, 30–40 minutes; its congress centre, which opened in 2024, stands beside the Hauptbahnhof. Frankfurt is 80 km north, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, with the Buchmesse at Messe Frankfurt from 6 to 10 October 2027, and Stuttgart 133 km, 1 hour 35 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes.
Two longer runs cross a border. Colmar in Alsace is 204 km away, 2 hours 15 minutes to 3 hours, and Basel 258 km, 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours 45 minutes. Each is booked as one journey, with the same chauffeur and car from start to finish, with no change of vehicle at the border.
Germany has notified the European Commission of temporary checks at its internal land borders, and France has notified the European Commission of checks at its internal borders. As Switzerland is not in the EU customs union, customs rules apply at the Swiss border. Carry the travel documents your nationality and itinerary require.

Groups & Congress Travel in Mannheim
Mannheim has two large venues with different calendars. The Rosengarten holds scientific congresses and conferences through the year. The Maimarkt, which calls itself Germany's largest regional fair, fills more than 75,000 m² of exhibition space for eleven days around the start of May; in 2027 it runs from 24 April to 4 May.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If congress delegates come in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own from Frankfurt. For an exhibitor team with stand material, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
Book early for the Maimarkt weeks and for large congresses at the Rosengarten. Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early on those dates. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
