Getting Around Koblenz
Koblenz grew up where the Moselle flows into the Rhine, at the point called the Deutsches Eck. From there a cable car crosses the Rhine for 850 metres up to the Ehrenbreitstein fortress, so the fortress plateau lies on the opposite bank from the old town.
The city is also the headquarters of the BAAINBw, the Bundeswehr's federal office for equipment and information technology, with about 7,900 staff at its Koblenz and Lahnstein sites. Its offices include the Bundesbehördenhaus on Regierungsstraße and a site in Rauental, so a meeting there needs the exact building in the booking.
Koblenz Hauptbahnhof lies in the south of the city. IC and ICE trains stop there, and regional lines run up the Moselle and the Lahn. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
For a day with meetings at two BAAINBw sites and a visitor programme at Ehrenbreitstein, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve. Send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.

Airport Transfers in Koblenz
Koblenz has no airport of its own, so three are in play. Frankfurt-Hahn is the closest, 84 km away in the Hunsrück, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes by car; it is served mostly by budget and holiday carriers, Ryanair and Wizz Air among them. Cologne Bonn Airport is 92 km north, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes, and Frankfurt Airport is 115 km, 1 hour 25 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Flying from Frankfurt means Terminal 1 or the newer Terminal 3, in use since April 2026, so give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Koblenz, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes to Cologne Bonn and 1 hour 25 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes to Frankfurt Airport in normal traffic. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Cross-Border Travel from Koblenz
Koblenz lies between the Rhineland and the Rhine-Main area, and both are within easy reach. Bonn is 85 km north, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes, with a World Conference Center for up to 5,000 participants. Cologne is 109 km, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes, and the halls of Koelnmesse cover 284,000 m². To the south-east, Wiesbaden is 100 km away, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, and Frankfurt 126 km, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. A run from your hotel to an office in any of these cities is a single booking, and your bags stay in one car the whole way.
Luxembourg is 172 km to the south-west, 2 hours to 2 hours 40 minutes. You book the trip just as you would a run within Germany, with the same chauffeur and car from start to finish, with no change of vehicle at the border.
Germany has notified the European Commission of temporary checks at its internal land borders, and the return from Luxembourg can take longer because of them. Carry the travel documents your nationality and itinerary require.

Groups & Event Travel in Koblenz
Every August, Rhein in Flammen brings three days of stages, food stalls and fireworks to Koblenz. In 2026 it ran from 7 to 9 August, with a convoy of up to 70 ships sailing down the Rhine from Spay to Koblenz. If a group plans to be in town that weekend, sort out the airport runs as soon as the trip is fixed.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If delegates come in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own, whether it lands at Hahn, Cologne Bonn or Frankfurt. For a delegation moving together, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
Plan well ahead for the Rhein in Flammen weekend. Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early on those dates. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
