Getting Around Billericay
Billericay is a historic market town and civil parish in the Borough of Basildon, Essex. The town grew up along its High Street, where St Mary Magdalen Church and the Cater Museum stand today. Billericay also has a place in American history: four people from the town sailed on the Mayflower in 1620, among them Christopher Martin, the ship's governor.
Two green spaces frame the town. Lake Meadows, with its boating lake, is one of the main parks, and Norsey Wood, a nature reserve on the north-east side, is partly a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Billericay station is on the Shenfield to Southend line, and Greater Anglia runs its services to London Liverpool Street. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival. By road, the A176 and B1007 run south to Basildon and north to Chelmsford, and the A129 links the town with Wickford and Shenfield. For a flat above a shop on the High Street or a house near Norsey Wood, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.
On a day of meetings in Billericay, Basildon and Brentwood, reserve the car for a set number of hours: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Billericay
Southend Airport is 16 miles east, 40–55 minutes by car; in 2025 it handled 720,000 passengers, more than twice its 2024 figure. London City Airport and Stansted Airport are both 27 miles away, and both take 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes.
Luton Airport is 52 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, and Gatwick 55 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Book with your flight number. When you land back in England, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Billericay, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: London City and Stansted take the same time on paper, but the route to City Airport runs through east London, while Stansted lies to the north-west, away from the city. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

The village of Stock is 4 miles north, 20–30 minutes, and Basildon 5 miles south, 20–30 minutes.

For a naval history day, or to meet a ferry, Portsmouth is 112 miles, 2 hours 20 minutes to 3 hours. Book hours, and one car covers the whole day there and back; a one-way booking ends at the dockyard or the port, and the way home is a separate reservation.

Groups & Event Travel in Billericay
Billericay Town FC, three times winners of the FA Vase in the 1970s, plays in the Isthmian League. For a visiting squad and its staff, or a group of supporters heading to an away match, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, kit hampers included.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If a group of American visitors tracing the Mayflower story lands at different airports on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early on Saturdays in the football season and over Christmas. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
