Getting Around Sant Antoni
Sant Antoni sits at the head of the bay of Portmany, on Ibiza's west coast. Its hub is the Passeig de ses Fonts by the harbour, with the town hall, the tourist office, the taxi rank and the bus station close together. A few streets back is the West End, the bar quarter, and along the northern shore the rocks of Ses Variades lead to Caló des Moro, about 1 km from the centre.
The island has no railway. The boats that leave Sant Antoni's harbour serve the beaches: Cruceros Portmany sails across the bay to Cala Bassa and the Platges de Comte several times a day. Ferries to Formentera and Mallorca leave from Ibiza port, about 16 km away. Include your ferry details and arrival time when booking so we can arrange your pickup at the port.
For an evening along the coast to the south-west, Cala Bassa is about 11 km by road and Cala Comte about 13 km, and inland Sant Josep is about 8 km. Book a transfer there and a second one back at the pickup time you set.
Vara de Rey, the street that links the Passeig de Ponent seafront with the old centre, has been a pedestrian-priority boulevard since June 2026, with vehicle access restricted to residents and emergency services. Send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.

Airport Transfers to Sant Antoni
Sant Antoni is about 22 km from Ibiza Airport, the island's single airport, and the transfer takes 25 to 35 minutes. All flights to the island land there, and the only other way onto Ibiza is by sea, through Ibiza port.
The airport is at the south-eastern end of the island and Sant Antoni on the west coast, so the drive crosses Ibiza rather than following the shore. Air traffic on Ibiza is concentrated in the months from May to October. Journey times vary with traffic and the time of day.
Book with your flight number: your chauffeur monitors your flight and adjusts the pickup if your arrival time changes. Your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. Leaving Sant Antoni, allow for the drive to the airport when choosing your pickup time: 25 to 35 minutes to IBZ, longer on summer changeover weekends. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Island & Ferry Travel from Sant Antoni
A stay in Sant Antoni can be combined with another part of Ibiza. A few nights in Ibiza Town, about 16 km east, for Dalt Vila and the marinas, or a villa near Sant Josep, about 8 km inland, is one booking with all the luggage, from one address to the next.
The west coast beaches work by road and by sea. By car, Cala Bassa is about 11 km and Cala Comte about 13 km; by boat, Cruceros Portmany crosses the bay from the harbour promenade. You can go out by boat and book the car for the return, with the beach as the pickup address; the booking confirmation tells you where to meet the chauffeur.
Formentera is reached from Ibiza port, so a day there starts with the drive across the island, about 16 km. Set the pickup time to suit the boat's departure; the confirmation shows it.

Groups, Luggage & Summer Travel in Sant Antoni
Sant Antoni draws groups: friends on a summer week, a birthday party booked around the West End, families in apartments along the bay. Six people with holiday cases need more room than six people with hand luggage, so luggage volume matters as well as passenger numbers. Tell us what you are bringing and the vehicle is matched to the load. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats. If the group arrives on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
In summer the beach boats run several return trips a day from the harbour. On the main day of Sant Bartomeu, in late August, fireworks light up the bay at midnight.
The dates to book early are July and August, with Sant Bartomeu at the end of August. Around those dates, local vehicles and drivers are booked up early. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
