Getting Around Victoria
Victoria is on Vancouver Island, and its Inner Harbour is a landing point for both floatplanes and a passenger ferry from the US. Harbour Air floatplanes from downtown Vancouver land at the terminal at 950 Wharf Street after a flight of about 35 minutes. The Victoria Clipper from Seattle's Pier 69 docks at 254 Belleville Street after about 2 hours 45 minutes on the water. Either terminal can be entered as the pickup address.
Close by on the harbour, the Victoria Conference Centre adjoins the Fairmont Empress, with 21 meeting rooms, an exhibit hall and a 400-seat lecture theatre. For a day of client meetings around the city, or a visit to the Butchart Gardens in Brentwood Bay, about 22 km from Victoria, book hourly chauffeur service: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.
Hotels, offices and homes in Victoria range from the harbour streets to Oak Bay and Saanich. Send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.

Airport Transfers in Victoria
Victoria International Airport (YYJ) is in North Saanich, near Sidney, 26 km from downtown and 30–40 minutes by car on Highway 17, the Pat Bay Highway. It has a single terminal and handled 1,986,057 passengers in 2025. YYJ has no US preclearance, and passengers to the US usually connect through Vancouver. Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur.
Nanaimo Airport is 97 km north, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes on the Trans-Canada Highway. The right one depends on your airline and route. Vancouver International Airport is on the mainland, so getting there means a BC Ferries crossing from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen: the sailing takes about 1 hour 35 minutes, plus loading and unloading at each end, and the timetable rather than the road decides the length of that trip.
For a departure from Victoria, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: allow 30–40 minutes to YYJ, and more at rush hour. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Multi-City Travel from Victoria
North of the city, the Trans-Canada Highway runs up the Island: Duncan is 61 km away, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes, and Nanaimo 111 km, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. Sidney, next to the airport, is 27 km up Highway 17, 30–40 minutes, and the Swartz Bay ferry terminal is in North Saanich, beyond it.
Every trip from Victoria to the mainland is a ferry trip. BC Ferries links Swartz Bay with Tsawwassen, in Delta south of Vancouver, in about 1 hour 35 minutes of sailing. On this route Vancouver is 157 km from Victoria and Whistler 281 km, but the sailing you choose sets the length of the day, so plan the timing around the ferry schedule and tell support which sailing you have in mind when you book.
If you are heading to the mainland for a single meeting, compare the floatplane: Harbour Air flies from the Inner Harbour to downtown Vancouver in about 35 minutes, and a chauffeur can take you between the terminal and your address at either end.

Groups & Congress Travel in Victoria
Cruise ships berth at Ogden Point, in the Breakwater District, from April to October. For 2026 the port projected about 335 calls and just over one million passengers, and many calls are evening visits of a few hours on voyages between Seattle and Alaska. On one weekend in July 2026, 10 ships brought 29,761 passengers. For a short call, enter Ogden Point as the pickup address and set the pickup time to match the ship's schedule.
For delegates at the Victoria Conference Centre: when you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If they land at YYJ on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For a group travelling together, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
On the busiest cruise weekends of summer, plan early: local vehicles and drivers are booked up early on those dates. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
