Getting Around Maastricht
Maastricht lies on both banks of the Maas, close to the Belgian and German borders. The historic centre, with the Vrijthof and the Markt, is on the west bank. Wyck, with Maastricht Centraal station, is on the east bank, and the Sint Servaas bridge links the two. The MECC exhibition and congress centre, with about 30,000 m² of halls, is about 2.5 km south of the centre, next to the Maastricht University campus.
Maastricht Centraal is a short walk from the historic centre across the river, with Intercity trains to the rest of the country. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
For a day of meetings at the university or a fair day at the MECC, hourly service reserves one chauffeur and one vehicle for the time you book.
Maastricht's zero-emission zone in the centre applies to vans and lorries making deliveries; passenger cars are not affected by it. With the full address in your booking, we can tell you where the car can stop.

Airport Transfers in Maastricht
Maastricht Aachen Airport is 13 km north of the centre, via the A2. The drive takes 25–35 minutes. Because the city sits on two borders, the other options are in three countries: Eindhoven Airport is 94 km, Brussels Airport 108 km, Dusseldorf Airport 112 km and Cologne Bonn Airport 117 km. The right one depends on your airline and route.
The A2 carries the traffic north, towards the airport and Eindhoven, so the run to Maastricht Aachen is short and direct. The roads to Brussels, Dusseldorf and Cologne are motorways for most of the way. Traffic and weather can change the drive time.
For arrivals, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Maastricht, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 25–35 minutes to Maastricht Aachen Airport and 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes to Brussels Airport, longer in heavy traffic. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Cross-Border Travel from Maastricht
Most long runs from Maastricht cross a border. Liège is 32 km and Aachen 38 km, close enough for a meeting and back within a few hours. Cologne is 102 km, Dusseldorf 107 km, Brussels 113 km and Antwerp 112 km. You get the same chauffeur and car from start to finish, with no change of vehicle at the border.
Within the Netherlands, Eindhoven is 88 km north on the A2 and Amsterdam 214 km. When a fair week in Maastricht ends with meetings in Amsterdam, the whole run from hotel to office is one booking, with the cases in the same vehicle.
The Netherlands ended its temporary internal border checks on 30 September 2026; since 1 October, the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee has carried out mobile checks in the border area. Germany checks at its border with the Netherlands until 15 March 2027. Each passenger needs the travel documents required for their nationality and route.

Groups & Congress Travel in Maastricht
The MECC brings international visitors to Maastricht for fairs and congresses, and its best-known event is TEFAF, the art and antiques fair held there each March. The 2026 edition, for example, had 277 exhibitors from 24 countries, and collectors, dealers and museum groups arrive for it from many of them.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation; when guests land at Maastricht, Brussels and Dusseldorf on different flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is chosen to fit the luggage.
Book well ahead for March, when local vehicles and drivers are booked up early. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
