Airport Transfers from Eindhoven Airport (EIN) to Maastricht

One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: the terminal to a hotel in Wyck, the MECC back to Eindhoven Airport after the last fair day, or the airport to the university campus beside the MECC. For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. For a departure, the pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: Eindhoven Airport to your hotel in Maastricht, and back to the terminal at the end of the stay. March needs both legs fixed early: TEFAF is on at the MECC, collectors and dealers arrive from abroad, and cars in the region are taken well before the fair opens. You choose both pickup times, and your confirmation shows them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at EIN, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

Eindhoven Airport to Maastricht: Route and Drive Time

Maastricht is 94 km south of Eindhoven Airport, in the far south of Dutch Limburg. The car takes the N2 around Eindhoven and then, for most of the way, the A2 south through Limburg. The drive takes 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours.

This is about the longest run regularly driven from the airport, and on a motorway journey of this length the start weighs more than the middle: the ring around Eindhoven decides how quickly the car reaches the A2. In Maastricht, hotels lie on both sides of the river, in the old centre and in Wyck, while the MECC is some 2.5 km south of the centre.

Journey times vary with traffic and weather. For a fair or a congress, give the venue or the hotel with your flight number rather than just the city.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Eindhoven Airport

Eindhoven Airport shares its runway with Eindhoven air base, and passengers use a single terminal. A collector flying in for TEFAF therefore comes out in the one arrivals area whatever the airline, and meets the chauffeur there.

For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules. With up to two hours of road ahead, a late landing moves the arrival in Maastricht by the same amount.

The airport is scheduled to close to all flights from February 2027 until 19 July 2027 while Defence renovates that runway. Airlines move their flights for those months: Eindhoven Airport lists Weeze in Germany and Maastricht Aachen Airport as the alternatives for Transavia and TUI. For Maastricht the latter is the nearer airport anyway, so in spring 2027, including TEFAF in March, book the transfer from the airport on your ticket.

Arriving at Your Address in Maastricht

The Maas runs through the middle of Maastricht. The old town around the Vrijthof and the Markt occupies the west bank; across the Sint Servaas bridge, Wyck and Maastricht Centraal station are on the east side. The MECC exhibition and congress centre lies roughly 2.5 km south of the old centre, beside the university campus.

The city's zero-emission zone covers vans and lorries making deliveries; passenger cars fall outside it, so the zone does not decide where you get out.

Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up. During TEFAF, give the MECC or your hotel as the address, not simply Maastricht.

From Maastricht Back to Eindhoven Airport

Leaving Maastricht, the useful thing to know is how long the road takes, not when to leave: 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours to the terminal, longer in heavy traffic. The pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.

On a drive of this length, plan with the whole range rather than the lower figure. With a single terminal at Eindhoven, every airline uses the same drop-off.

Should the return flight be from Maastricht Aachen Airport, the run is 13 km, 25–35 minutes. If it leaves from Brussels Airport, allow 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes from Maastricht; that is a separate booking to that address. The road crosses into Belgium, so carry the travel documents your nationality and itinerary require.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your airport transfer with Bookinglane.

How long is the transfer from Eindhoven Airport to Maastricht?

Maastricht is 94 km from the airport, on the N2 and then the A2 south through Limburg. The drive takes 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours; the ring around Eindhoven at the start decides much of the difference.

Which airport is closest to Maastricht?

Maastricht Aachen Airport, 13 km north of the centre and 25–35 minutes by car. Eindhoven Airport is 94 km away and Brussels Airport 108 km. Your ticket decides which one the transfer starts from.

Where is the MECC, and where will the car drop us?

The MECC is about 2.5 km south of the old centre, next to the university campus. Give the MECC or your hotel as the address, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up.

Does Maastricht's zero-emission zone affect our car?

No. It is aimed at delivery traffic, vans and lorries; passenger cars sit outside it. The drop-off depends on the address you give.

Our delegates land at Eindhoven on different flights. How do we book?

Book every flight separately; the vehicle for each one is chosen for the passengers and luggage on board. If you book for others, the whole programme can sit in one account, and each transfer is booked and confirmed separately.

Is a chauffeur service from Eindhoven Airport to Maastricht the same as a taxi?

Dutch law treats paid passenger transport by car as taxi transport, chauffeur services booked in advance included; above eight passengers, the rules for private coach transport apply. What differs is the arrangement: the ride is booked before you travel instead of taken at a taxi rank, the vehicle and time are settled when you book, and your confirmation says where to meet. On an airport pickup the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time.
