Getting Around Rotterdam
Rotterdam's centre, with Rotterdam Centraal and the Coolsingel, is on the north bank of the Nieuwe Maas. Across the Erasmus Bridge, Kop van Zuid has grown into a second business district, and the cruise terminal on Wilhelminapier is there too. The main congress venue, Rotterdam Ahoy, is further south in Hart van Zuid, next to the A15 and about 10 minutes from the centre. Its RTM Stage seats 2,816, the largest auditorium in the Netherlands.
Rotterdam Centraal has direct Eurostar trains to Antwerp, Brussels, Paris and London, and the Intercity Direct reaches Schiphol in about 25 minutes. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
For a day of meetings in Kop van Zuid or a congress day at Ahoy, hourly service reserves one chauffeur and one vehicle for the time you book.
With the full address in your booking, we can tell you where the car can stop.

Airport Transfers in Rotterdam
Rotterdam The Hague Airport is 8 km north of the centre, on the A13. The drive usually takes 14–20 minutes. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is 60 km away, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes by road, and is the airport for the wider international network. Eindhoven Airport, 106 km south-east, is a third option; which airport suits you depends on your airline and route.
The A13 sets the timing. The stretch between The Hague and Rotterdam carries heavy commuter traffic, and the airport sits right on it, so the morning and evening peaks add time even on this short run. The road to Schiphol follows the A4 past Delft and Leiden. Traffic and weather can change the drive time.
For arrivals, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Rotterdam, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 14–20 minutes from the centre to RTM, longer in heavy traffic. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Cross-Border Travel from Rotterdam
Rotterdam is well placed for runs to the rest of the country. Maastricht is 203 km to the south-east and Groningen 248 km to the north-east. If a port visit in Rotterdam is followed by meetings in Limburg, you travel on to that address in one booking, with your luggage on board.
Belgium begins about an hour south of the city. Antwerp is 101 km on the A16 and E19, Brussels 145 km and Bruges 170 km. Each is a realistic day trip or a transfer to your next hotel, with the same chauffeur and car from start to finish, with no change of vehicle at the border.
The Netherlands ended its temporary internal border checks on 30 September 2026; since 1 October, the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee has carried out mobile checks in the border area, including on the roads to Belgium. Each passenger needs the travel documents required for their nationality and route.

Groups & Congress Travel in Rotterdam
Groups come to Rotterdam for congresses at Ahoy, for business at Europe's largest seaport and for cruises. In 2025, for example, 31 different cruise ships from 18 lines were scheduled to call at the terminal on Wilhelminapier, a few minutes by car from the centre.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation; when guests fly into RTM and Schiphol at different times, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is chosen to fit the luggage.
Book well ahead when a major congress is on at Ahoy or a cruise ship is in port, as local vehicles and drivers are booked up early. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
