Getting Around The Hague
The Hague is the seat of the Dutch government and home to about 160 international organisations. The historic centre is built around the Binnenhof. The Beatrixkwartier, next to Den Haag Centraal, is the main office district. Towards the coast lies the International Zone, with the Peace Palace, the International Court of Justice, Europol and the OPCW, and beyond it the seaside district of Scheveningen. The World Forum convention centre, with space for up to 5,000 people, is in the International Zone, between the centre and the beach.
The city has three main stations: Den Haag Centraal, Hollands Spoor and Laan van NOI. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
For a day of appointments at the ministries or in the International Zone, hourly service reserves one chauffeur and one vehicle for the time you book.
Older diesel cars and buses may not enter the milieuzone in the city centre. With the full address in your booking, we can tell you where the car can stop.

Airport Transfers in The Hague
Rotterdam The Hague Airport is 19 km from the city centre. The drive usually takes 20–30 minutes. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is 45 km away, 45 minutes to 1 hour by road, and has the wider range of international routes. For a conference at the World Forum, the choice depends mainly on your airline and route.
The road to RTM is the A13, one of the most congested motorways in the country during weekday peaks. The route to Schiphol follows the A4 past Leiden. Traffic and weather can change the drive time.
For arrivals, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from The Hague, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 20–30 minutes from the centre to RTM and 45 minutes to 1 hour to Schiphol; heavy traffic adds to that. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Cross-Border Travel from The Hague
Longer domestic runs from The Hague go to the far ends of the country: Maastricht is 231 km and Groningen 237 km. When a delegation's programme in The Hague continues with visits in the provinces, you book the run from the hotel in The Hague to that address in one go, with the luggage in the same vehicle.
Belgium is reached via the A13 and A16. Antwerp is 129 km, Brussels 174 km and Bruges 200 km. For a meeting with the EU institutions in Brussels after a week in The Hague, you get the same chauffeur and car from start to finish, with no change of vehicle at the border.
The Netherlands ended its temporary internal border checks on 30 September 2026; since 1 October, the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee has carried out mobile checks in the border area, including on the roads to Belgium. Each passenger needs the travel documents required for their nationality and route.

Groups & Congress Travel in The Hague
Groups in The Hague are often official delegations rather than trade-show visitors. When, for example, the NATO summit was held at the World Forum in June 2025, it brought 45 heads of state and government and about 6,000 delegation members to the city. The International Zone hosts recurring conferences of the courts and agencies based there.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation; when delegates arrive at RTM and Schiphol on separate flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is chosen to fit the luggage.
Book well ahead once a summit or a large conference is announced, as local vehicles and drivers are booked up early. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
