Rotterdam The Hague Airport to The Hague: Route and Drive Time
The Hague lies 19 km north-west of Rotterdam The Hague Airport, and the car covers most of it on the A13 before turning into the city streets. The drive usually takes 20–30 minutes, against 45 minutes to 1 hour from Schiphol, 45 km away.
The A13 is the variable. It links The Hague and Rotterdam and ranks among the country's most congested motorways in the weekday peaks, so an arrival at 8 in the morning or 5 in the afternoon takes longer than one at midday. Inside the city, the historic centre around the Binnenhof and the office district next to Den Haag Centraal come first; the International Zone and the seafront at Scheveningen are further on, towards the coast.
Journey times vary with traffic and weather. For an appointment with a fixed start, such as a hearing or a signing, add the time and the address of the first meeting to the booking.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Rotterdam The Hague Airport
For a delegation, the practical advantage of RTM is its size. There is a single terminal, so everyone on the same aircraft comes out into one arrivals area and nobody has to be collected from a different hall.
For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules. When members of a delegation fly in on separate flights, each one has a pickup tied to its own landing, rather than one car held for the whole group.
From the United Kingdom, RTM has a British Airways link with London City, and Transavia adds a route from London Stansted from 16 October 2026 (as announced by the airport). Both arrive at the same terminal.

Arriving at Your Address in The Hague
The Hague is where the Dutch government sits, alongside about 160 international organisations, and the address decides the last part of the drive. Coming from RTM, the motorway brings the car into the city on its eastern side, where the ministries of the Beatrixkwartier stand beside Den Haag Centraal. The Binnenhof and the historic centre are a short way beyond. The International Zone, with the courts, the embassies and the World Forum convention centre (up to 5,000 people), lies on the far side of the centre, towards the dunes and Scheveningen.
If your programme continues by train, any of the city's three main stations can be the drop-off: Den Haag Centraal, Hollands Spoor or Laan van NOI. Older diesel cars and buses are kept out of the centre by a milieuzone.
Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up.

From The Hague Back to Rotterdam The Hague Airport
Leaving The Hague, the useful thing to know is how long the road takes, not when to leave: 20–30 minutes from the centre to the terminal, longer in heavy traffic. The pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.
A pickup in the International Zone or at a hotel in Scheveningen starts further from the A13 than one near Den Haag Centraal: Scheveningen is 29 km from the terminal, 35–45 minutes. On a weekday afternoon, the southbound A13 carries commuter traffic towards Rotterdam, which is the main reason to allow extra time.
When a conference ends in The Hague but the flight leaves from Schiphol, the drop-off becomes Schiphol instead of RTM: 45 km and 45 minutes to 1 hour from the centre.
