Getting Around Padua
In Padua the congress venue, the station and the old town sit close together. Padova Congress is inside the Fiera di Padova grounds, about 500 m from the station and near the historic centre, and by car the fair is signed from the Padova Est exit of the A4 and the Padova Sud exit of the A13. For delegates this means short transfers inside the city and longer ones only to the airports.
Padova station is about 20 minutes from Venice by train, so a delegate staying in Venice can come in by rail and take the car from the station. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
For a congress day or a day of meetings, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.
The historic centre is a ZTL with camera gates that record vehicles going in and coming out. Send the full address with your booking; we will then let you know the closest point a car can reach.

Airport Transfers in Padua
Padua has no airport of its own. Venice Marco Polo is the nearest international airport, 45 km away on the A57 and A4, usually 45 minutes to 1 hour by car. Treviso Airport is 55 km away on the A4, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes. The ticket decides which one you use, and the car is booked to that terminal.
Both runs are almost all motorway. Journey times vary with traffic and weather.
For arrivals, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Padua, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 45 minutes to 1 hour to Marco Polo, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes to Treviso, longer in heavy traffic. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Multi-City Travel from Padua
Padua is a good base between the Veneto cities and Emilia. Venice is 40 km away, Verona 88 km, Bologna 120 km on the A13, Trieste 186 km and Florence 225 km. If a congress in Padua is followed by a client visit in Bologna or a weekend in Florence, the car goes from your hotel in Padua to the next hotel in one reservation, with your luggage in the car the whole way. Count on 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours for Bologna and 2 hours 35 minutes to 3 hours 30 minutes for Florence.
Verona, 88 km west on the A4, and Ferrara, 78 km south on the A13, are both within a day's reach: 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes to Verona and 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes to Ferrara. A client meeting in either city fits a Round-Trip booking, with the drive back to Padua set at the time of booking.
Some itineraries end with a flight from Bologna instead of Venice. Bologna Airport is 121 km from Padua on the A13, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, with the car going right up to departures; include the flight number in the booking.

Groups & Congress Travel in Padua
Padua's congress venue is built for large groups. When, for example, a meeting fills Padova Congress, the venue designed by Kengo Kuma and opened in 2022, it can take up to 3,334 people, with 1,566 seats in the main hall.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation; when delegates come in on different flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; we choose the vehicle to fit the passengers and the luggage.
Book around your congress dates as soon as they are fixed: local vehicles and drivers are booked up early. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
