Getting Around Bolzano
A business trip to Bolzano usually has two addresses: the centre around Piazza Walther, the main square, and Fiera Bolzano, with 25,000 m² of halls in the commercial district of Bolzano Sud, about 4 km away. If your programme includes the fair, plan the day around that distance.
The station is a few minutes' walk from Piazza Walther. EuroCity trains run by DB and ÖBB connect it with Munich over the Brenner, and with Verona and Bologna to the south. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
A working day can start at a hotel in the centre and end there in the evening. Booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve. By car, the A22 has exits at Bolzano Sud and Bolzano Nord, so which one the route uses depends on your address.
Put the full address in the booking; we check it and let you know how near the door the car can stop.

Airport Transfers in Bolzano
From the centre to Bolzano Airport is only 5 km, and the drive normally takes 15–20 minutes. The larger alternatives are further out: Innsbruck is 124 km north on the A22 and A13 across the Brenner, about 1 hour 35 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes, and Verona 152 km south on the A22, about 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes. Your ticket settles it: the car is booked to whichever of the three your flight uses.
Journey times vary with traffic and weather. The A22 carries both routes, and the Brenner section is where winter weather can slow the drive to Innsbruck.
For arrivals, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Bolzano, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 15–20 minutes to Bolzano Airport, 1 hour 35 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes to Innsbruck, 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes to Verona, longer in heavy traffic. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Cross-Border Travel from Bolzano
Bolzano is where many Dolomites trips begin. Ortisei in Val Gardena is 36 km away. Cortina d'Ampezzo is 131 km by the main road through Val Pusteria; the shorter way over the passes, about 100 km, has winter closures, so the car uses the valley route in the cold months. South on the A22, Trento is 59 km and Verona 154 km, for a meeting or a stay that continues there; the car goes from your Bolzano hotel to that address in a single booking.
Innsbruck is 119 km away in Austria, over the Brenner on the A22 and A13. The trip runs with the same chauffeur and car from start to finish, with no change of vehicle at the border. Have with you the travel documents that your nationality and itinerary require.

Groups & Congress Travel in Bolzano
Fiera Bolzano handles events from small meetings to large gatherings. When, for example, an event there uses the full capacity of up to 20,000 people, delegations and exhibitors arrive in the same few days and need cars at the same hours.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation; when colleagues come on different flights or trains, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; send the head count and the luggage, and we choose the vehicle to fit.
For late November to early January, when about 70 stalls of the Christmas market fill Piazza Walther and groups come for it, reserve well ahead: local vehicles and drivers are booked up early. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
