Getting Around Mayfair
Mayfair is the part of the City of Westminster bounded by Park Lane to the west, Oxford Street to the north, Regent Street to the east and Piccadilly to the south. It holds some of London's best-known hotels, among them The Dorchester and Claridge's, the fashion houses of Bond Street and the offices of many investment firms, including hedge funds and private equity houses.
The whole district lies inside the Congestion Charge zone; Park Lane, along its western side, is one of the zone's boundary roads. Along the northern edge, vehicles are kept off Oxford Street from 26 October 2026, on the stretch between the Orchard Street junction and Great Portland Street; the scheme starts as a trial, with a review lasting into spring 2027. If your hotel, shop or office is on or close to that stretch, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go.
For a day of investor meetings, a lunch and an afternoon on Bond Street, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve. Hyde Park is across Park Lane, and Green Park and Piccadilly mark the southern side.

Airport Transfers in Mayfair
Heathrow is 17 miles west of Mayfair, 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes by car; it handled 84.5 million passengers in 2025 across Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5. London City Airport lies 10 miles east, yet the drive also takes 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes, as the route runs through the City. Luton Airport is 33 miles north, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, and Stansted Airport 38 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes. Gatwick is 42 miles south, 1 hour 35 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
Redevelopment work took away the Terminal 4 multi-storey on 23 June 2026, so collections at T4 now use other areas. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Mayfair, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: Park Lane and Hyde Park Corner are slow in the evening peak. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Mayfair
Chelsea, with King's Road and Sloane Square, is 2 miles from Mayfair, 20–30 minutes. The Chelsea Flower Show takes place at the Royal Hospital Chelsea from 18 to 22 May 2027.
West of London, Windsor is 23 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes, for the castle. Ascot is 29 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes; Royal Ascot runs from 15 to 19 June 2027. Bicester, home of the Bicester Village designer outlet, is 62 miles, 1 hour 35 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes, and Oxford 59 miles, 1 hour 35 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes, so the two fit one day.
Starting at your hotel, you need no train from Marylebone or Paddington, and shopping bags stay in the boot. An hourly booking keeps the car through a day at the races or the outlet; a one-way transfer ends at your destination, with the return reserved on its own.

Groups & Event Travel in Mayfair
Mayfair's hotels host delegations, roadshows and private parties. From 19 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is open just across Park Lane, and the Christmas weeks bring shoppers to Bond Street and Regent Street.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If an investor delegation lands on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For a party leaving a hotel together, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
If a coach is collecting from your hotel, give its full address early: with Oxford Street closed to traffic, the stopping point may be in a side street. Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early in December and in the Royal Ascot week. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
