Getting Around Aberdeen
Aberdeen is a city on the north-east coast of Scotland, built largely of grey granite and known as the centre of the North Sea oil and gas industry. Union Street runs through the middle of the city, and the harbour lies just south of it.
Aberdeen station stands beside the Union Square shopping centre, with trains from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
Since 1 June 2024 the city centre, roughly between Holburn Street and Virginia Street, has been a Low Emission Zone with 36 entry points watched by cameras. For an office or a hotel inside it, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go.
The second business area is around Dyce in the north-west, next to the airport, where the P&J Live arena and exhibition centre opened in 2019. A day of meetings split between a city-centre office and companies near Dyce can be booked by the hour: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.

Airport Transfers in Aberdeen
Aberdeen International Airport is at Dyce, 6 miles from the city centre, 25–35 minutes by car. In 2025 it handled about 2.30 million passengers through one passenger terminal, and it also has a heliport area for offshore flights. Loganair, British Airways and KLM, with its link to Amsterdam, are among the main airlines.
Book with your flight number. When you land, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Aberdeen, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: the run out to Dyce is short, but the morning traffic towards the airport and the business parks around it can slow it down. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Day-Trip Travel from Aberdeen
Royal Deeside starts just west of the city along the A93; Balmoral, the royal estate at Crathie, is about 51 miles from Aberdeen, 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes by car.
For golf, St Andrews is 79 miles south, 1 hour 55 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes, and Gleneagles, the resort in Perthshire, 104 miles, 2 hours 10 minutes to 2 hours 50 minutes. Inverness, the gateway to the Highlands, is 106 miles north-west, 2 hours 40 minutes to 3 hours 30 minutes.
Stirling, where the castle looks over the Forth valley, is 120 miles, 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours 15 minutes. Edinburgh is 127 miles, 2 hours 50 minutes to 3 hours 40 minutes, a full day each way. On a trip that ends in another city, a one-way booking takes you and your luggage to the address there; for a same-day return, an hourly reservation holds the car until you are back.

Groups & Congress Travel in Aberdeen
Energy-sector conferences shape the calendar at P&J Live, about 6 miles from the city centre, 25–35 minutes. SPE Offshore Europe, the industry exhibition held every two years, is due there from 7 to 9 September 2027, bringing exhibitors, delegations and stand crews to the city.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If a delegation comes in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For an exhibition team, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, from display cases to safety kit.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early for exhibition weeks and for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, from 28 April to 3 May 2027. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
