Getting Around Rosenheim
Rosenheim is a compact town, and its centre is Max-Josefs-Platz, the square at the heart of the old town. Max-Josefs-Platz, Ludwigsplatz and parts of Münchener Straße and Am Salzstadel are pedestrian zones, so hotels and offices in the old town are reached on foot for the last few metres.
The station is a short walk from the old town along Bahnhofstraße. Eurocity and Railjet trains stop here on the way between Munich and Innsbruck, with up to nine direct trains a day to Innsbruck, and there are trains to Salzburg and direct services over the Brenner to Verona. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
Prien on the Chiemsee is 20 km east, 30–40 minutes. For a day that combines meetings in town with a visit to the lake, book by the hour: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.
Cars may enter the pedestrian zone only for deliveries in the early morning and the evening, and need a permit at other times. If your hotel is in the old town, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go.

Airport Transfers in Rosenheim
Salzburg Airport, across the border in Austria, is the closest: 77 km east, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Munich Airport is 109 km north-west, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes, and has the widest choice of flights. Innsbruck Airport is 116 km south, 1 hour 25 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
On the runs to Salzburg and Munich the motorway does most of the work, so it is the time of day, more than the kilometres, that sets the journey, above all the morning and evening traffic around Munich. Journey times vary with traffic and weather.
Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Rosenheim, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes to Munich Airport on a quiet day, longer in heavy traffic. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Cross-Border Travel from Rosenheim
Rosenheim sits where the roads from Munich divide towards Salzburg and Tyrol. Munich itself is 70 km away, 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes; a day there for a meeting or a trade fair, with the drive back in the evening, is easy to plan from here. Messe München has 18 halls with about 200,000 m² of exhibition space.
Austria starts half an hour south. Kufstein is 37 km away, 40–55 minutes; Kitzbühel is 72 km, 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes; Innsbruck is 111 km, 1 hour 25 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes; and Salzburg is 86 km east, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes. A transfer to a ski resort in Tyrol or a concert in Salzburg is booked as one journey, with the same chauffeur and car from start to finish, with no change of vehicle at the border. Kitzbühel hosts the Hahnenkamm races on 22 to 24 January 2027, and Messe Innsbruck the INTERALPIN trade fair from 20 to 23 April 2027.
Germany has notified the European Commission of temporary checks at its internal land borders, including the border with Austria, and the checks can add time on the way back. Carry the travel documents your nationality and itinerary require.

Groups & Event Travel in Rosenheim
In Rosenheim itself, the big event is the Herbstfest, held every year on the Loretowiese at the end of August and into September and lasting sixteen days. Munich's Oktoberfest follows from late September, and in the years it is held, the IAA MOBILITY motor show comes to Munich in September, next in 2027. For a group staying in Rosenheim in those weeks, that can mean a run into Munich and back every day.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If the group comes in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own, from Munich or from Salzburg. For a party moving together, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load, ski bags for a week in Tyrol included.
Book early for late August, September and the start of October. Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early in those weeks. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
