Getting Around Hamm
Hamm, a city of about 179,000 people on the Lippe, calls itself a "city of law". It is the seat of the Oberlandesgericht Hamm, the largest higher regional court in Germany, and of further courts. If you come for a hearing, the court address is all the car needs.

Hanover is 178 km to the north-east, 2 hours to 2 hours 40 minutes, and the exhibition grounds there, with about 392,000 m² of hall space, host Hannover Messe on 5–8 April 2027.
