Getting Around London
Downtown London's main event venue is RBC Place London at 300 York Street, with about 86,500 sq ft of event space and a Grand Ballroom of about 33,000 sq ft. On 1 October 2025 it added the King Street Ballroom, 12,300 sq ft plus a foyer, joined to the main centre by a raised pedway. Western University's main campus is in the north of the city, about 10 minutes from downtown, according to the university.
If you are meeting a faculty member at Western in the morning and a client downtown in the afternoon, hourly chauffeur service covers the whole day: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve.
The VIA Rail station is at 205 York Street, at Clarence Street, a few blocks from RBC Place. VIA's corridor trains between Windsor and Toronto call at London. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival. For a hotel or an office downtown, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.

Airport Transfers in London
London International Airport (YXU) is 11 km from downtown, 15–20 minutes by car. About 297,800 passengers used it in 2025. WestJet and Air Transat are the main carriers, with Porter arriving for winter 2026–27, and schedules change with the season. Book with your flight number. For an arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur.
For more destinations, Toronto Pearson is 173 km east on Highway 401, 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes. With US preclearance, you clear US customs before boarding a flight to the US. Waterloo airport is 106 km away and Hamilton 126 km. The right one depends on your airline and route.
For a departure from London, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: for an early flight from Pearson, allow 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes and leave in good time. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Multi-City Travel from London
Kitchener is 111 km east, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, and Hamilton 128 km, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes. Toronto is 196 km, 2 hours 5 minutes to 2 hours 50 minutes, a long day there and back by car but simpler than two trains and a transfer across the city.
Windsor lies 192 km to the south-west along Highway 401, 2 hours to 2 hours 40 minutes, and Leamington 170 km. For the falls, Niagara Falls is 203 km, 2 hours 10 minutes to 2 hours 55 minutes. In winter, Blue Mountain is 250 km north, 3 hours 15 minutes to 4 hours 25 minutes; for skis and boots, mention the gear when you book.

Groups & Congress Travel in London
London's autumn is busy. The Western Fair fills the Western Fair District every September; in 2026 it ran for the 149th time, from 11 to 20 September. Western University's Homecoming follows in late September, with reunions and a Mustangs football game at Western Alumni Stadium.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If conference speakers fly into YXU and Pearson on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For a delegation or an alumni class moving as one group, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats.
On Homecoming weekend and during large conferences at RBC Place, book well before you travel: local vehicles and drivers are booked up early on such weekends. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
