Getting Around Burlington
Burlington is where Highway 407 ends at the QEW, so it is a junction for trips across the western GTA. Aldershot station is on VIA Rail and Amtrak's Maple Leaf route between Toronto and New York, which also calls at St. Catharines and Niagara Falls. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
The Royal Botanical Gardens, at 680 Plains Road West, are described by Destination Ontario as Canada's largest botanical garden, with more than 1,000 hectares of nature reserve around the formal gardens. McMaster University also has a Burlington campus, alongside its main campus in Hamilton.
For a day that starts with a meeting in Burlington, continues to a supplier in Oakville and ends at a client in Mississauga, hourly chauffeur service is the comfortable choice: one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve. For a garden entrance, a business-park building or a home near the lake, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.

Airport Transfers to Burlington
From Burlington, three airports sit within an hour. Hamilton airport is 33 km away, 30–40 minutes; Pearson is 52 km and Billy Bishop 55 km, each usually 40–55 minutes by car. Hamilton has daily Porter flights to Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax and Vancouver; at Pearson, WestJet, Porter, Air Transat and Flair fly from Terminal 3, while Terminal 1 is used by Air Canada and its Star Alliance partners.
Book with your flight number. For a flight into any of them, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. US preclearance is available at Pearson and Billy Bishop, not at Hamilton. With US preclearance, you clear US customs before boarding a flight to the US. Waterloo airport is 66 km away, and Buffalo Niagara International 119 km, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes. The right one depends on your airline and route.
For a departure from Burlington, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: allow 30–40 minutes for Hamilton and 40–55 minutes for Pearson or Billy Bishop, so the choice can rest on the flight. Journey times vary with traffic and weather. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Cross-Border Travel from Burlington
The QEW takes you from Burlington to Niagara Falls, 74 km and 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes, and Niagara-on-the-Lake is 72 km. Buffalo is 103 km, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission posts hourly wait times for its bridges, which helps when choosing a crossing.
On a ride into New York State, you keep the same chauffeur and car from start to finish, with no change of vehicle at the border. Note that the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge is open to NEXUS members only. Visitors who need an ESTA must have it approved before they cross into the US by land, and they receive their I-94 record at the land port. Carry the travel documents your nationality and itinerary require.
Inside Ontario, Kitchener is 70 km, London 141 km, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, and Blue Mountain 171 km, 2 hours 15 minutes to 3 hours.

Groups & Event Travel in Burlington
Spencer Smith Park on the lakefront is Burlington's main outdoor stage. In 2026 the long-running Sound of Music Festival did not take place after the City declined its funding, and a new event, the Lakeshore Music & Arts Festival, was held in the park on 20 and 21 June. If your group plans a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens, keep in mind that the gardens are spread out and linked by trails.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation. If a garden club or a choir comes in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. For a group that travels as a unit, a Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; the vehicle is matched to the load.
For festival weekends on the lakefront, book early: local vehicles and drivers are booked up early on those dates. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
