Getting Around Naples
In Naples the port is part of the city centre. Cruise ships berth at the Stazione Marittima on Molo Angioino, and the ferries and hydrofoils to Capri, Ischia and Procida leave from Molo Beverello next door, which handles about 4 million passengers a year. Molo Beverello is pedestrian-only, so for a boat connection give the sailing time and the pier with your booking; we will then let you know the closest point a car can reach.
The historic centre is divided into several separate ZTL areas, each with its own hours. Send the full address with your booking; we will then let you know how close the car can go.
Napoli Centrale, in Piazza Garibaldi, is the main station, with Frecciarossa and most Italo trains; the fastest trains from Rome take about 70 minutes. Some high-speed trains call at Napoli Afragola instead, about 12 km north of the centre and with no metro. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.
For a working day in Naples, booked by the hour, one chauffeur and one vehicle stay with you for the time you reserve. Pompeii, 26 km away, and Caserta, 37 km, are close enough for a day trip.

Airport Transfers in Naples
Naples Airport, at Capodichino, is 7 km from the centre, usually 20–25 minutes by car, and the same short run takes you to Molo Beverello or the Stazione Marittima. Rome Fiumicino is 245 km away on the A1, about 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours 45 minutes. Your ticket decides between the two, and that is where the car will be.
Journey times vary with traffic and weather.
For arrivals, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pickup to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. For a departure from Naples, what counts is the length of the drive, not the time on the clock: 20–25 minutes to Capodichino, 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours 45 minutes to Fiumicino, longer in heavy traffic. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Multi-City Travel from Naples
Many trips through Naples continue on the coast. Sorrento is 51 km away on the A3 and the SS145, and Positano 61 km. Amalfi is 63 km over the Agerola road (SR366), or 74 km on the A3 to Vietri sul Mare and then along the SS163 coast road. From Capodichino or Napoli Centrale, the car takes you straight to your hotel on the coast in one booking. Count on 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes to Sorrento and 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes to Positano.
Heading north, Caserta is 37 km up the A1 and Rome 224 km. When a stay in Naples finishes with a few days in Rome, one booking covers the drive from your Naples hotel to your Rome address, or to Fiumicino, 245 km away, for the flight home. Rome takes 2 hours 40 minutes to 3 hours 35 minutes, Fiumicino 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours 45 minutes.
Salerno is 58 km down the A3, 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes by car. A meeting there and the drive back fit a single Round-Trip booking, with the return to Naples fixed at the start.

Groups & Cruise Travel in Naples
Naples is Italy's second cruise port after Civitavecchia, with about 1.9 million cruise passengers forecast for 2026. When, for example, a group ends a cruise at the Stazione Marittima and flies home from Capodichino, 7 km away, the transfer is short, but it needs the ship, the terminal and your pickup time in the booking.
When you book for other people, all their transfers can be kept in one account, each with its own booking and confirmation; when guests fly in on different flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats; we choose the vehicle to fit the passengers and the luggage.
Reserve the embarkation and disembarkation days first: local vehicles and drivers are booked up early. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
