Airport Transfers from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Ripley

Trusted by professionals at
One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: Terminal 4 to a farmhouse towards Send, Terminal 3 to a home on Ripley High Street, or a house in West Horsley to Terminal 5 for a dawn departure. For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time; for a departure, you set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: Terminal 5 to a cottage in Ripley for a cycling week and back to Terminal 5 when the riding ends, or Terminal 2 to an inn on the high street for a stay near Wisley and out again afterwards. With both directions in one booking, the return is secured from the start; you set both pick-up times yourself, and the confirmation lists them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at LHR, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

London Heathrow Airport to Ripley: Route and Drive Time

Ripley, a village under Guildford borough council, lies just past Junction 10 of the M25, to the south-west of Heathrow. From the terminals it is 21 miles, normally 40–55 minutes, and nearly all of that is motorway: the M25 south to the junction with the A3 at Wisley, then a few minutes on the A3, which bypasses the village.

The last part depends on where you are staying. The high street, with its old coaching inns, follows the former Portsmouth road through the village; farmhouses and homes on private lanes lie towards Send, West Horsley and Pyrford, where the River Wey Navigation runs through the meadows.

Journey times vary with traffic and weather. Give your arrival terminal and the full address, and, where a lane has no house numbers, the name of the property.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at London Heathrow Airport

Heathrow handled a record 84.5 million passengers in 2025, through Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. Give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there.

On the day of arrival, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules.

Ripley has no railway station. The nearest fast trains stop at Woking, on the main line to Waterloo, so with suitcases the car from Heathrow is the direct way to the village.

Arriving at Your Address in Ripley

Ripley's high street keeps its coaching inns from the days when the village was a stage on the road to Portsmouth, and late-Victorian cyclists made it a regular destination on rides from London. Wisley, the flagship garden of the Royal Horticultural Society, is just to the north.

For a farm or a house down a private lane, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go.

If you land in the morning and have a table booked in the village in the evening, the chauffeur can take you home first, and a separate booking covers the evening out.

From Ripley Back to London Heathrow Airport

For the trip back, reckon with the drive rather than the clock: 40–55 minutes on a normal day. Junction 10, the A3 interchange with the M25 at Wisley, has been rebuilt over several years, and work there can hold up the start of the trip. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

The car takes the motorway to the terminal on your ticket. Terminal 5 and Terminal 4 have approaches of their own, so put the departure terminal in the booking.

RHS Glow lights up Wisley on selected evenings from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. If you fly out on a Glow evening, leave a little earlier, as the garden is next to the junction.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your airport transfer with Bookinglane.

Heathrow to Ripley: what drive time should I expect?

Ripley is 21 miles away, normally 40–55 minutes, with the motorway doing nearly all the work. Put the terminal and the village address, with the house name, in the booking.

My flight into Heathrow was delayed by bad weather. Is my car still booked?

Yes. The chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time, and the car follows your actual touchdown. Your flight number in the booking makes this work.

Where is the meeting place for my transfer at Heathrow?

That follows your terminal. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules.

Is there a railway station in Ripley?

No. The closest station with fast trains is Woking, on the line into Waterloo. Add the train and its arrival time to the booking, and the car is scheduled for that arrival.

Can we bring bikes from Heathrow to Ripley?

Yes, if they are listed. Enter the number of bags in the booking form; for golf bags, bikes or other bulky items, tell support so the vehicle is matched to the load. A group of riders on one flight can share a van.

What do you need to know about Ripley in 2026–2027?

RHS Glow runs at Wisley, just north of the village, on selected evenings from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. From 1 April 2027 Ripley's local services pass to the new West Surrey Council, along with the rest of the borough of Guildford.
