London Heathrow Airport to Brixton: Route and Drive Time
Brixton is a town centre south of the river, in the borough of Lambeth. By road it is 19 miles, normally 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, from the Heathrow terminals. The car heads east from the airport and crosses the south-western suburbs, then comes in through Stockwell, passing the O2 Academy on Stockwell Road just before the centre.
Which part of Brixton you are going to shapes the end of the trip. The market streets, Electric Avenue, Market Row and Brixton Village, are packed into the middle, with Windrush Square and the Black Cultural Archives beside them. Brixton Hill climbs south from Lambeth Town Hall, and Brockwell Park lies beyond it, so a home near the park is reached without crossing the market area.
Journey times vary with traffic and weather. Say in the booking whether the address is a flat above a shop or a house on a side road.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at London Heathrow Airport
Long-haul arrivals bound for Brixton often come into Terminal 3, the base of Virgin Atlantic, Delta, Emirates and other long-distance carriers; it shares the central area with Terminal 2, while Terminals 4 and 5 stand apart. Give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there.
The chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks.
By rail, the trip is harder than it looks on the map. Brixton is at the end of the Victoria line, which means a change of lines in central London, and since 25 June 2026 trains no longer stop at the Terminals 2 and 3 station, so rail passengers start at Terminal 4 or 5.

Arriving at Your Address in Brixton
Brixton mixes market streets, terraced roads and new flats around the station. Lambeth Town Hall, on the corner of Acre Lane and Brixton Hill, and Windrush Square, which opens in front of the Black Cultural Archives, are two landmarks that help the chauffeur find a nearby door.
For a flat in the market streets, send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go. The same applies on a concert night, when the roads beside the O2 Academy are full of people leaving the venue.
After a long flight, some people prefer to eat first. If that is your plan, name a restaurant in Brixton Village as the destination instead of your home.

From Brixton Back to London Heathrow Airport
Plan the drive out by its length, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes in ordinary traffic, longer in the rush hours. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.
On the way out, the car goes through Stockwell and Vauxhall towards the motorway, and the drop-off point at Heathrow depends on your terminal: put Terminal 3, 2, 4 or 5 from your ticket into the booking.
Festival days in Brockwell Park fill the roads south of the centre. Festival listings for 2027 name 30 May for Cross The Tracks and 5–6 June for Mighty Hoopla; Lambeth has to approve the park's programme every year, so confirm with the organisers, and set an earlier pick-up for a flight on those dates.
