Airport Transfers from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Belvedere

Trusted by professionals at
One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: Terminal 2 to a depot on a riverside estate, Terminal 4 to a house near Lesnes Abbey, or Belvedere station to Terminal 5 for an evening flight home. For an arrival, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time; for the outbound trip, you set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: Terminal 3 to a site office in Lower Belvedere when a contract starts, and back to Heathrow once the job is finished, or Terminal 5 to a family home in Upper Belvedere and out again after the visit. If a maintenance shutdown has a fixed end date, both legs can be reserved at once. With both directions in one booking, the return is secured from the start; you set both pick-up times yourself, and the confirmation lists them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at LHR, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

London Heathrow Airport to Belvedere: Route and Drive Time

Belvedere looks across the Thames from Bexley borough, at the eastern end of London, while Heathrow lies beyond the capital's western edge. Belvedere is 32 miles by road, normally 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes. The route runs either through south London or round the M25, and the hold-ups of the day count for more than the distance.

The final stretch depends on which Belvedere you need. Upper Belvedere, on the hill where the eighteenth-century Belvedere House gave the district its name, is a residential area. Below it, Lower Belvedere is flat riverside land of trading estates and a big waste-burning power plant, and for a visiting engineer the site gate may be the real destination.

Journey times vary with traffic and weather. Tell us your terminal and the exact address, including the unit or gate on an industrial estate.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at London Heathrow Airport

Passengers arrive at one of four terminals, 2, 3, 4 or 5. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. Check which one is printed on your ticket, give your terminal in the booking and the car goes there.

Once you are in the air, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules.

The Elizabeth line ends at Abbey Wood, about a mile from Belvedere, which makes rail look tempting. With bags, though, it is less simple at present: the station under Terminals 2 and 3 has been closed since 25 June 2026, so anyone arriving at those two terminals must move across to Terminal 4 or 5 before boarding a train.

Arriving at Your Address in Belvedere

Belvedere has two faces. Up the hill are houses and the streets round the station, a North Kent line stop with Southeastern services into London Bridge. Down on the flat land by the Thames are trading estates, depots and the waste-to-energy works, with Crossness Pumping Station, Bazalgette's Victorian engine house, further west on the marshes.

Send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop. For a works visit, add the company name and the gate or reception you report to, since a large site may have several entrances.

If you are staying near Lesnes Abbey, the ruined twelfth-century abbey in the woods at the Abbey Wood end, say so in the booking, as that side of the district is reached by a different road.

From Belvedere Back to London Heathrow Airport

Base the return on how long the ride takes, 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes in normal conditions, more in the morning and evening peaks. You set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

At the airport, the terminal decides where the car draws up, and the four terminals are some distance apart. Put the departure terminal in the booking with the flight number.

If the pick-up follows a shift or a site inspection, choose a time after you expect to finish, not when the work is due to end. A delay on site then does not eat into the margin you need for check-in at Heathrow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your airport transfer with Bookinglane.

Belvedere from Heathrow: how many miles, and how long?

By road, Belvedere is 32 miles, normally 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes by car from the terminals. Add the terminal and the site or street address when you book.

Our engineer's connecting flight was missed. Does the car still meet the new one?

Yes, once you update the flight number in the booking: the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pick-up around the real landing time. A later landing on the same flight needs no action at all.

Is the meeting point at Heathrow inside the terminal?

Collections are not made at the kerb outside. Heathrow does not allow pick-ups on the terminal forecourts; collections take place from the terminal car parks. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules.

Is Belvedere in Kent?

It was until 1965. Since then Belvedere has been part of the London Borough of Bexley, between Abbey Wood and Erith on the Thames. The Kent boundary now runs a few miles further east, beyond Crayford.

Can a crew of ten with tool cases travel in one vehicle?

Ten people fit, since the van has 12 seats, yet heavy equipment eats into the space. Enter the number of bags in the booking form; for golf bags, bikes or other bulky items, tell support so the vehicle is matched to the load.

What do you need to know about London Heathrow Airport in 2026–2027?

Since the Terminal 4 parking block closed for redevelopment (23 June 2026), arriving passengers there meet their cars in a priority area by the building. Heathrow's expansion consultation, open to everyone, is planned for 27 October – 22 December 2026.
