Chauffeur Service at Glasgow Airport (GLA)
Glasgow Airport, run by AGS Airports, handled 8.21 million passengers in 2025. Every flight uses a single terminal at Abbotsinch, beside Paisley, and the airport has no rail station of its own, so the last stretch into the city is by road. Drivers collecting passengers use the pick-up and drop-off area opposite the terminal building, which is meant for short visits of up to 15 minutes.
The centre of Glasgow is 9 miles east along the M8, 25–35 minutes. The Scottish Event Campus by the Clyde is about 9 miles, 25–35 minutes, and Balloch, at the foot of Loch Lomond, about 17 miles, 35–50 minutes. Edinburgh is 56 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes.
On arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur; the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules. For a departure, you set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Sprinter Van Service at Glasgow Airport (GLA)
Cruise passengers fly into Glasgow with a port close by. Greenock Ocean Terminal, on the Firth of Clyde, is about 17 miles from the airport, 35–50 minutes, and the port expected 75 ship calls in 2026. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 passengers with their luggage, which before a sailing means large cases; give the count in the booking, and the vehicle is matched to the load. If friends sailing together land on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
Golf parties head south to the Ayrshire coast. Royal Troon is about 33 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 25 minutes, and Turnberry about 53 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, so clubs and bags ride with the players all the way to the course.
Some groups use the second airport on that coast for the flight home: Prestwick Airport is about 35 miles away, 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes by road.

Coach Service at Glasgow Airport (GLA)
Exhibitions and concerts at the SEC bring delegations and touring crews in by air; the OVO Hydro there holds up to 14,300 people. Coaches come in several sizes with up to 56 seats, and the luggage travels in the hold, so a whole delegation reaches its hotel in one run.
Winter has its own peak: Celtic Connections fills Glasgow's concert halls from 14 to 31 January 2027. In summer, spectator groups for The Open at St Andrews, from 15 to 18 July 2027, face a long run east: the Old Course is about 85 miles from the terminal, 2 hours 5 minutes to 2 hours 40 minutes, and Gleneagles about 54 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early for Open week and big Hydro concert nights. For a hotel pick-up, send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
