Chauffeur Service at Edinburgh Airport (EDI)
Edinburgh Airport is the busiest in Scotland: a record 16.97 million passengers passed through it in 2025. Every airline works from a single terminal building. Cars dropping off or collecting passengers use the ground floor of the multi-storey car park across the road from the terminal building.
The centre of Edinburgh is 8 miles east, 35–50 minutes by car, and the EICC conference centre at Haymarket is about 7 miles, 30–40 minutes. Glasgow lies 40 miles to the west, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, along the M8. North over the Forth, Gleneagles is about 42 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, and the Old Course at St Andrews about 51 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes.
On arrival, your chauffeur checks the flight status and times the pick-up to when you actually land, and your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur; the exact spot follows the airport's own pick-up rules. For the flight home, you set the pick-up time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Sprinter Van Service at Edinburgh Airport (EDI)
Golf parties are a summer group at Edinburgh. St Andrews stages the 155th Open between 15 and 18 July 2027, and a four-ball from abroad lands with clubs, shoes and a week of clothes. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 passengers with their luggage, and golf bags count as luggage: give the number of bags and travel cases when you book, and the vehicle is matched to the load.
In August the traffic turns to theatre: companies fly in for the Festival Fringe, from 6 to 30 August 2027, with costumes and props. If a cast comes in on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own, so the first arrivals need not hang around for the last plane.
Some groups land at one Scottish airport and leave from the other. About 49 miles of motorway separate Edinburgh Airport from Glasgow Airport, 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes by road, and one van carries everyone and every bag across.

Coach Service at Edinburgh Airport (EDI)
Conference delegations, school choirs and supporters' clubs can land as one party of forty or more. Coaches come in several sizes with up to 56 seats, and the luggage travels in the hold, so the group leaves the airport together and checks in at the hotel at the same time.
Big dates fill the coach diary. Edinburgh's Hogmanay runs from 29 December 2026 to 1 January 2027, with the Street Party on 31 December; The Open brings spectator groups to Fife in July, and the Military Tattoo takes over the Castle Esplanade from 6 to 28 August 2027. For a day out, the castle town of Stirling is about 30 miles, 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes.
Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early around Open week and through August. Some Old Town hotels stand on narrow streets where a coach cannot pull in, so send the full address with the booking and we will tell you how close the car can go. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
