Getting Around Sitges
Sitges is a small town laid out along its beaches. The tourist office lists 18, from town beaches such as La Ribera, Fragata and Sant Sebastià to the long sweep of Les Botigues at the Castelldefels end and the small coves inside the Parc del Garraf natural park. The parish church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla stands above the sea on Plaça Baluard, and three marinas, Aiguadolç, Garraf and Port Ginesta, add addresses of their own.
Sitges station, in the town, has direct trains from central Barcelona in about 35 minutes. High-speed trains arrive at Barcelona-Sants, about 40 km away. Include your train details and arrival time when booking so we can arrange your pickup at the station.
The evening does not have to stay in town. Vilanova i la Geltrú is about 12 km to the south-west and Castelldefels about 19 km towards Barcelona. Book a transfer there and a second one back at the pickup time you set.
Every October the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, held since 1968, screens in the town's historic cinemas and in the Palau de Maricel on the seafront. Send the full address with your booking; the confirmation then tells you where the car will stop.

Airport Transfers to Sitges
Barcelona-El Prat is the airport for Sitges, about 30 km away, and the transfer takes 25 to 40 minutes. Reus Airport, about 70 km to the south-west, is the second option when one of its flights suits you better. From Reus the drive is 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes.
From El Prat the drive follows the C-32 motorway along the Garraf coast for most of the way, then the C-31 into town. From Reus it is the AP-7 and the C-32 north-east. Journey times vary with traffic and weather.
Book with your flight number: your chauffeur monitors your flight and adjusts the pickup if your arrival time changes. Your booking confirmation shows where to meet the chauffeur. Leaving Sitges, allow for the drive to the airport when choosing your pickup time: 25 to 40 minutes to El Prat, longer on summer weekends. You set the pickup time yourself, and the confirmation shows it.

Long-Distance & Multi-City Travel from Sitges
A Sitges stay can be paired with the city. If you spend a few nights in Barcelona, about 39 km away, before or after your beach stay, a single booking covers the transfer between hotels with all your luggage. Tarragona, about 61 km to the south-west, is a day among the Roman remains or the next base down the coast.
Going home by high-speed train means starting from Barcelona-Sants or from Camp de Tarragona, about 70 km away. The transfer runs from your hotel to the station at the pickup time you set.

Groups, Luggage & Summer Travel in Sitges
A group in Sitges may be here for an occasion: a private event, friends for Pride, a crew for the film festival. Suitcases, costumes and camera cases count as much as the headcount. Tell us what you are bringing and the vehicle is matched to the load. A Sprinter van carries up to 12 people with their bags, and bigger groups go by coach, with up to 56 seats. If the group arrives on several flights, every arrival gets a transfer of its own.
Carnival in February is declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest, the Barcelona–Sitges International Vintage Car Rally arrives in March, and the Festa Major de Sant Bartomeu, the main town festival, falls in August, in the middle of the beach season.
The dates to book early are Carnival in February, Pride in June, the Festa Major in August and the film festival in October, along with summer weekends. Local vehicles and drivers are booked up early for those dates. If your plans go beyond a standard booking, write to support with the dates, addresses, number of passengers, flights and luggage, and the team will arrange it.
