Airport Transfers from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) to Sitges

One-Way Transfer
A one-way transfer covers one journey between two addresses: T1 to a seafront hotel near La Ribera beach, T2 to a flat by the Aiguadolç marina, or Sitges back to the airport after the last festival screening. For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. For a departure, the pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.
Round-Trip Service
Round-Trip Service books both directions in one reservation: El Prat to your hotel or apartment in Sitges on arrival, and the return to El Prat on your last day. Carnival, Pride and the October film festival are the peak weeks, when cars along this coast are taken early, so book the way home at the same time as the way in. You choose both pickup times, and your confirmation shows them.
Hourly Service
Hourly service keeps one chauffeur and one vehicle with you for a set number of hours. When you book, you set the start at BCN, the final address and the hours you need, and you add the day's plan to the reservation so the chauffeur has it before your flight lands. It suits an arrival day with appointments, not a straight run to one hotel.

Barcelona Airport to Sitges: Route and Drive Time

Sitges is 30 km from Barcelona Airport, south-west along the coast. The car leaves the terminals for the C-32, which follows the Garraf massif for most of the distance, and takes the C-31 for the last stretch into town. The drive usually takes 25–40 minutes, and it never goes through Barcelona.

Most of the distance is the C-32 beside the Parc del Garraf, whose coves the tourist office counts among the town's beaches; the C-31 then brings the car in from the Castelldefels side.

Journey times vary with traffic and weather. The town is small, but its addresses run from Les Botigues at the Castelldefels end to the marina at Aiguadolç on the other side, so give the street and number with your flight, not only the name of the town.

Meeting Your Chauffeur at Barcelona Airport

Your airline decides where you come out at El Prat: T1, or one of the three sections of T2, T2A, T2B and T2C. T1 and T2 stand some 4 km apart and have separate arrivals areas; put the terminal in the booking next to the flight number, and your chauffeur is placed at that building.

For arrivals, the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time. Your booking confirmation tells you where to meet, and the exact spot follows the airport's own pickup rules. On a Friday of the film festival in October, when an evening flight comes in late, the pickup simply moves to the new time and the drive down the coast starts from there.

Friends travelling on two airlines may land in different buildings. Shuttles between the two buildings leave every six to eleven minutes at any hour, so the party can gather at one terminal for a single car, or each flight can be booked as its own transfer. The refurbishment of T2 that Aena put out to tender in 2026 does not close the terminal.

Arriving at Your Hotel in Sitges

The town is strung along the sea, and its tourist office counts 18 beaches, from La Ribera, Fragata and Sant Sebastià in the centre to Les Botigues towards Castelldefels and the coves inside the Parc del Garraf. Plaça Baluard, where the town's parish church stands, looks down on the water, with the Palau de Maricel, one of the film festival venues, on the seafront close by.

Three marinas, Aiguadolç, Garraf and Port Ginesta, are addresses in their own right, and a flat by one of them is a different drop-off from a hotel in the centre. For a house inside the Garraf park, add any access details you have from the owner.

Give the exact address when you book, and your confirmation shows where the car will pull up. For a festival week, give the hotel rather than the venue, and book the evening runs to the screenings separately.

From Sitges Back to Barcelona Airport

Leaving Sitges, the useful thing to know is how long the road takes, not when to leave: 25–40 minutes to the terminals, longer when the roads are busy. The pickup time you choose is confirmed with the reservation.

Say which terminal your airline uses, T1 or T2: the two are 4 km apart, and the chauffeur then takes you to the right one.

When a few nights in Barcelona close the trip, 39 km and 35–45 minutes away, the car runs from one hotel to the other with the luggage. For a high-speed train home, the drop-off can be Barcelona-Sants, or Camp de Tarragona, about 70 km to the south-west.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your airport transfer with Bookinglane.

How far is Sitges from Barcelona Airport?

30 km. The car takes the C-32 along the Garraf massif and the C-31 into town, without going through Barcelona, and the drive usually takes 25–40 minutes.

Which airport should I fly into for Sitges?

Barcelona-El Prat, 30 km away, is the nearer and has the wider network. Reus, 70 km to the south-west and 55 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes by car, works when a summer flight to it suits you better.

Where will I meet my chauffeur at Barcelona Airport?

At the arrivals area of the terminal your airline uses, T1 or T2. The two buildings are about 4 km apart, so include the terminal with the flight number; your booking confirmation tells you where to meet.

What happens if my flight to Barcelona is late?

The pickup moves with it: the chauffeur tracks your flight and plans the pickup around the real landing time.

How far is Sitges from Barcelona city?

About 39 km by road, 35–45 minutes. A stay that combines the two is booked as a transfer between the hotels, and the cases go in the same car.

When should we book transfers for the Sitges festivals?

As soon as the dates are fixed. The busy dates are Carnival (February), Pride (June), the Festa Major (August) and the Fantastic Film Festival (October), and around them local vehicles and drivers are committed well ahead.
